| Another part of the surprise-box from France was the group of white uncoloured figurines from Linde Germany. They miss the colour maybe, but they look great in model, size about 1:32. Bison Brown Bear standing(in white, strange isn't it?) Dromedary Red Deer Chamois Lion Lioness Penguin Giant tortoise Kangaroo Ibex Tiger This Californian Seal is not marked with Linde, but with Titze The whole lot _________________ http://www.collectorsquest.com/collector/1313/willybacoman

| Thanks again Amy, i think they are quit rare too, because you don't see them to often... There is very little to find about these figurines. I think Linde was a manufacturer of chocolate, and gave these figurines away with the product. Anyway, the fit well in my vitrine with uncoloured figurines of the 1950's and 1960's... _________________ http://www.collectorsquest.com/collector/1313/willybacoman

| Subject: Some Linde Figurines came in last week... Mon Nov 22, 2010 1:15 am | |
| Last week, i had a smaller Linde coffee-figurines come in. The are made in an un-painted kind of plastic, mostly in off-white or red. There were given away with Linde coffee in the 1950's untill the early 1970's in Germany I bought the lot for the animals, although i had already 2 of them, but i like native people too, so the people are staying in the collection too. They are often named as Karl-May(Winnetou and Old Shatterhand) figurines. Here they are: The complete lot Linde Gryzzly bears, from which i had already one, thanks to Christophe, so now i have...uuuhhh 2 of them, haha. Linde Lionesses, the same story, although there is some colour-variation in both... Linde Scottish Collie, this one was new for me. Linde figurine, which looks like Daniel Boone to me. Linde Indian standing in red. Linde Indian standing white. Linde Indian waving white. Linde Indian sitting red. Linde Pioneer/Cowboy kneeling red. _________________ http://www.collectorsquest.com/collector/1313/willybacoman

| Thank you Harriet! :) Yes, i like him too. When i open this vitrine, in which i display these kind of un-painted figurines from the 1950's-1970's, a certain smell comes out, which remembers me so much of those times... Brands like these Linde's, Marx USA, Timmee USA, Domplast Germany, Heinerle Germany, Manurba Germany, OMO Washingpowder figurines Holland, Jean Höffler Germany and so on... Often great models with great deetail only just in one colour, or just slightly painted... they are the ancestors of all our modern plastic animal-models... _________________ http://www.collectorsquest.com/collector/1313/willybacoman

| I wish you could by things like this still. I love the idea of buying coffee or tea and getting an animal with it! |

| Subject: Some Linde Figurines for December 2010 came in last week... Mon Dec 27, 2010 1:02 am | |
| Although the post is working slow and badly the last weeks, i still had some stuff in. I found this little lot with 4 Linde figurines, which i didn't have yet. Actually they are quit realistic, although in different scales, and in uncoloured white plastic... They were given away with Linde coffee in the 1950's and 1960's. Linde Clown Linde Peregrine Falcon, which i wanted because my friend Christophe has it too, and that says something about the quality of the model... I found the pelican too mon ami! (another lot...) Linde Californian Seal Titze Californian Seal, which was not in this lot, i had it from Christophe some time ago, it is another chocolate factory, and i show it, just to compare. Linde African Elephant, in a smaller scale but a good model. _________________ http://www.collectorsquest.com/collector/1313/willybacoman

| Muy obligado Philip y muchas gracias SyLoBe, and tak Susanne Yes, my collection is growing fast, but i am older than most of you, so i have to catch up on time, haha. and don't forget, that a lot of those brands are not always expensive as Schleichs or other items in that price-range. I am not talking about my Lineols or other composition models, which can be very expensive sometimes. I am waiting for the Lineol Saberantelope and Oryx for a long time now, but it seems that the seller takes a hike on me, and i lost his mail adress... Today i had the Linde pelican coming in as i said before... It was bigger then i aspected, about 1:20 in scale, but very nice! _________________ http://www.collectorsquest.com/collector/1313/willybacoman
