| I think some QH have a bit smaller head than average for this breed... But I already love him anyway _________________ ~Magda (formerly Mangalarga) Blog | Facebook |

| Oh, it is wonderful! I also love the pose, the legs, the chest and the small head is a characteristic of modern quarter horses! Wonderful pictures wonderful life of collectors we have! One thing is for sure, the sculpting of the final figure will be superb! :) Congratulations Anna and Mojo Fun! |

| In shape and position almost the same quality as the other horse Ana... But my first and direct thought was the same as some other people said here, the head looks to small, even though i am not a horse expert, and quickly did look into pictures of quarterhorse... Quarterhorses do have smaller heads than much other breeds, but the heads seem to be more elongated anyway, so there you could do some work maybe, or is it to late... But overall much more quality in compare to other modern brands, so there is a big advantage anyway... _________________ http://www.collectorsquest.com/collector/1313/willybacoman

| Thank You for Your comments and compliments Silvia, Magda, Harriet, Smithyboy, Robert, Willy and Roger Thank You for Your comments about proportions. Well, I think head could be bigger and it wouldn't look bad. But actually when I compare him with photos which I used for reference I'm not sure if there is a difference in proportions The thing which is different for sure is thickness of legs - this is because of PVC production process. I will look at photos again and think, and post some of them later Willy, to answer Your question, I think it is not too late yet, but to change it even 1mm I must be sure he will look better |

| I know what you mean, but even in the pics, the head is more elongated, so longer, which makes the head bigger in appearance... I know, i know Ana, sometimes you need more eyes to make a model perfect, isn't it? _________________ http://www.collectorsquest.com/collector/1313/willybacoman

| Some members helped a lot, doing their best in the review of the sable and different eyes were seeing the sable in a diferent way. I remember half of the people saying that the body was too long while another half was saying that the body was too short! That's absolutly normal, is not easy to review a figure from pictures! :) Who knows we are lucky enough to choose a 2013 horse figure and horse experts would elp in the review of future figures. Anyway I'm completly satisfied with the figures I'm saying but I'm not a horses expert, only an animal lover and a lover of wonderful replicas! For 2012 I'm completly happy with the horses Mojo will release since what would be my choice will be launched in 2012 and I'm almost sure that this breed would win a pole here! |

| I'm looking and looking at this model, and now I think that head is acceptable proportion-wise. QHs generally have a bit smaller heads comparing to body than most of other breeds. Now when I think about it, I've often thought that QHs are small-headed. But if it's still possible to change the prototype and elongate the head a bit, it won't do harm to the model :) About big-headed models - this may also be the cause why the head of this model seems to be too small _________________ ~Magda (formerly Mangalarga) Blog | Facebook |

| I´m not an expert but I could help you if you want me to do :)
QH have smaller heads because they are hypermuscled, so the head seems to be smaller. Most of those QH with small heads would have normal ones if they hadn´t bull-size muscles :) _________________ Visit my collection gallery at http://sylobe.deviantart.com/gallery/26714361

| To me, the size of the head seems in proportion with the rest of the horse. Quarter Horses tend to be all different sizes nowadays.
Can't wait to get these horses ! I think this one would be good for barrels :) |

| Ana, I think the horse's head is fine. Having owned Quarter horses and Arabs for the last twenty five years here is my two cents:
1. Your two horse models for 2012 Mojo are a 100% improvement over the first mojo horses.
2. Your model of the QH looks like a young immature horse. AS in many animals the head is one of the last things to mature as a horse grows.
3. There has been a change in the QH over the last 25 years where the head has not been as large as in the past.
If you need any help in the future in reviewing things I would be more than willing to help. AS you know, I am a big fan of yours! You even inspired me to try my hand at sculpting and that is all that I have been doing for the last 24 hours. Early results have been mixed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
