Fernando, thanks for taking such nice pictures of an impressive antelopes collection! Many of them I really don't know, Mainly these with attacheable head. Not only your antelopes collection as well as many other ungulates you are showing here!! :) Only a little question. Which oryx is the one in the first picture? :)

Great collection of antelopes Fernando! Some really great and never seen models there! And to Daniel, i am very awere between the distance of the 2 SUB-species of this particular antelope, they can't interbreed for that only. They are still reconsiderd as the same species, but sub-species as said before. Obvious, animal populations that are seperated for a longer time, start to differ in some things first, untill the point that they are so different, that they are finally 2 new and different species... I am working with species and sub-species on a daily basis, and still some of them are interbreeding(even if they are divided for maybe million years), and are still producing fertile young, so where is the thin boundery of species then... The secret lies in their ancestory, if they are decending from the same ancestors in the very beginning, and when evolution doesn't makes the need to differ to much, they are still very close in form, colour, and even in genes. I am pretty sure, if you put a tsessabee together with a topi, they will produce fertile young! , so the same species then...

My rare Vanishing Wild gemsbok mother and calf made by Safari Ltd. I nabbed them back in, I think 2005, soon after they were retired and right when they were just starting to become difficult to find. I remember thinking that the $30 I paid for them and their shipping costs was a lot but I am so glad I "splurged" on them back then because they are worth so much more than that now. What brand is the Gnu directly underneath the 2013 Blackbuck? It's the only one I couldn't identify. (in fact, those are also the only two I don't have. but I want them both now. must...have....more...antelope......)
