"Beautyful" little Icelandic horse - SIMBA

When my son was about 7 - 8 years old, we went to a Safari park.
Having listened to my exclamations for an hour or so, the kid said :
" Americans say that large is beautyful.
The Japanese say that small is beautyful.
Mom says that dumb is beautyful ! "

Hmmmm.
There is a saying that children and drunk people tell the truth

It is true that this little Icey looks quite goofy, - and I think he is BEAUTYFUL

I spotted him among some junk in an auktion, and thought : " Yesss !!! An Icey !!"

The person who modelled him must have seen an Icey as they looked 50 - 60 years ago in Iceland after a hard winter : short-legged, thin and shaggy.
(When Iceys starve, the neck becomes very thin.)

But there is no doubt at all that it is an Icelandic horse.
Just look at the slanting, sharp loins

He is actually perhaps the most typical model that I have seen

The brand is "Simba". Does anyone know anything about it ?

Lovely model-its the first animal model I have seen by Simba.They have knight/cowboy sets which are sold here in the UK on a regular basis in a chain of large discount stores.

I don't think it's not pretty. I love it!!
