| Today I went to the local toy shop,hoping to get the new Schleich models. I have to say that I hadn't have much hope,but,what did I see... 2012 figures!!!  I have not got all of them for instance the hadn't got the Panda and the Shropshire Sheep.  But I have to save money for Mojo and CollectA anyway,so it is not big problem. I guess it's a kind of a early birthday present. About the photos:It was already dark and I couldn't wait to share my joy with you so I had to use the flash.  My personal favorites,the Alpacas! I love the fur texture of the mare,it's like chocolate mousse  ...chocolate ...sorry!   [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The two Mongrel Dogs.I was sceptic about them first but as a dog collector I had to have them. :) I like the big one much more than the small. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Stork,Pelican and the fantastic Snow Owl!  It's my second favorite. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The very nice and expressive Gorillas,the beautiful skunk and at last I got hold of the 2011 Badger,what a wonderful figure!  [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Last but surely not least:The new Ice Bears,I'm a big fan of this species! I was lucky today,they were so clever to put all the animals which will be 2012 discontinued at the top of all and of course I had to get the old Ice Bear cub too.I was tempted to get many more of the discontinued models but I hadn't got more money... | Thanks for photos, Vivien I really like the bigger dog. Is he in scale with horses? I want to get a dog to horse-related dioramas I'm planning, and he would be great if he's in right scale. I'm getting the skunk for sure! | Thank you all very much,Ana,Gabe,Hariett,Andreas,Phil,Arnaud and Magda! I'm very happy that you like them. Gabe,you're so right about the male Gorilla,he has very much character.  Hariett,I will do some side-view photos for you tomorrow and then in daylight,I promise.  Any other photo wishes because I will make some daylight photos of them tomorrow anyway? :) Arnaud,indeed I'm VERY happy about them!! And you're right about the small Mongrel Dog but I found him so funny that I have to get him and he has got a very interesting fur texture. Congratulations on your badger,too. Magda,I cannot say really to be serious,I have no Horses in my collection but I think he's a bit small to be in scale with horses.
