these are my recently acquired figures from TOY MAJOR and another unknown manufacturer, both from China.

toy major:
hippo and african rhino

Where did you find them ? On ebay ?

I have the set of oryx,ostrich,kudu,baboon,wildebeeste,hyeana and there is also a nicely made flamingo but its way out of scale with the others!!I got mine on ebay from Hong Kong and they were really inexpensive!

But I am confused because I know "Tom Major"

that is animal manufacturer and his animals

are marked with T.M. into oval

Is Toy major or Tom Major?

Smaller than yours, a bit smaller than the SCHLEICH one. Do you need one ?

Indeed they were only seven : your kudu, oryx, ostrich, hyena, wildebeest, baboon and a flamingo.

my figures are TOY MAJOR. i am not sure, but maybe there was a brand called "tom major" in the 90s in china?

right now i only have Schleich dinosaurs and prehistoric mammals, but maybe i can post a pic of one of the figures with a schleich smilodon.

Now I'm also confused
I do know Toy Major (Toy Mojor trading co. ltd. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] ) They have prodused those cheap plastic figurines and animals, some of them not very good quality and some direct copies from other brands.

But I've never heard of Tom Major. Do they have websites or something?
I'd like to hear more of them :)
