Willy's Schleich additions...

I wanted to close of 2011 with 2 more Schleich items, which were still missing in my collection.
I still missed one of the 4 new rabbits, and the calf of the Cape Buffalo, so i quickly got them today.
The last items of 2011 which i want are the pointou donkeyfoal and the Texas Longhorn cow and calf.
Here are the newcomers:


13698 Schleich Rabbit grooming, which completed my set of 4 rabbits from 2011.

Thank you Harriet, yes, i think so to, i completed the Schleichs almost i wanted from the 2011 series, only 3 to go...

Susanne told me about 1 1/2 week ago, that she ordered some new 2012 Schleichs for me to as a surprise!
The second surprise was which models they would be of course...
Well, today i got the package, including one retired Bullyland stonemarten to, which i show in the Bullyland section of the forum.

This was the complete presentlot i got from auntie Susanne!

And last but not least, the bold eagle chicks on the nest, which have a heavy feeling over them, almost like they are made out of polystone or so.

That rabbit is SO cute, I had completely forgotten how cute it is

I never noticed the length of the ears on the foal, - perhaps they shrink as the foal grows

The story with the ears of the donkeyfoal is strange of course.
Maybe they are born with adult ears, and they stop growing from that moment on, not logical either, as they are already longer then from the adult...
