| Thank you, Susanne and Anna! - SUSANNE wrote:
- Why don`t you like the word poultry ?
The word poultry includes the assumption that the birds are meant to be used by humans, and I don't believe they are. I call them chickens, ducks and geese, because I think their life is valuable regardless of the money, meat or eggs one could benefit from them. And yes, maybe the brown one was just laying an egg when the others gathered for the photo. I've never seen eggs around here, though. But one of my Schleich dogs seems to have gained weight recently.. And I've also seen a marten running around here.. _________________ my website: Noora's Ark (last updated 13th of September 2013)

| WOW! Fernando, again you have so many unusual models to show us They are all beautyful, and again I spot some that look very interesting ( old?), - for instance the turkey in the middle background, and some of the ducks, like in the front middle and left Can you tell something about them, please - landrover wrote:

Animals of the sixties, made with celluloid. The Paint bad, because were much used. Are very rare animals and is important that people know toys of old years. |

| Chickens from Hong Kong and China [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]unmarked chickens mostly from China I think [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]and last my chickens from US companies. I have marked on the photo here who made which ones. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The American Metal Toys are the large ones of lead. Judy Toys and 2 of the Auburn ones are hard rubber, two other auburn ones are composition, and the other Auburns are rubbery vinyl. The Marx on the left are vinyl and next to them to the right are soft plastic, Ohio Art are vinyl. Littletown is a rare one in vinyl from an O gauge train accessory company. That's all for these guys :) _________________ Tim :) ToyAnimal.info - The Toy Animal Collecting Wiki Animoblog Animobil.info Playmobil Animals
