- I still remember Safari did sent you an email : change the colour "Because of you". So I think you should buy the "Lion".
Alas we were talking about the Indian rhino, not the lion |

- The reason I choose the Papo lion is... The lionesses ! they are so fantastic and the Schleich lion is too small to live with her.
You're darn right! That's why I'm so glad that Papo is releasing a young lioness - her size should fit Schleich lion perfectly. _________________ Owners of miniature zoos on shelves, unite! My collector's blog

Well, everything should happen earlier in the lions' world - it's the matter of survival :) _________________ Owners of miniature zoos on shelves, unite! My collector's blog

| I think Safari LTD should have made their new lion figure more similar to their lion in their Wildlife Wonders series. I really like that lion, so they should have just made a smaller version(because they did it with their WW Asian elephant and smaller Asian elephant). I still prefer my Papo "King of the Jungle" lion over the Schleich lion. |

| Hello, I have a few lion figure questions and would appreciate any help =] This Safari Ltd. lion looks like a remake of the older version and was listed on ebay, but does anyone know why it is not on their catalogue or site? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]For these I am just curious what the sizes are if anyone knows? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Lastly, I found these lions scattered across the internet but for some I don't have much info about them like size, material, brand, year, etc. They are hard to find but I thought I'd throw them out there :) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Thank you!

| That is just the picture I wanted to see, Susanne, thank you. The first Safari lion looks like a redone model but you are right I think it is just different painting. |

| I just found the schleich lion in a $1 bag of lions at a thrift store today but the colors are a little darker than on Susanne's Lion This Lion [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Looks like another Lion in the bag that says it is from Boley and again the colors are not the same and is the same size as the lion on the left in Susanne's group lion school class picture |
