| After the MOJO Giant sable, which you can see [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], I received the SAFARI Ltd sable. Before you ask me to make a comparison topic, I want to show you this sable alone because it is a good model and I hope you will enjoy it. This year is the sable antelope year and I will show all of them separately, as if they were the "only" sable. Of course, I will make also a " comparison" topic later And now, here are the pics

| That is a fabulous model indeed The sculpturing is differnet from most Safaris I think, - more detailed, isn`t it ? Thankyou for this great walk around |

| I also hate those white numbers... The model itself is splendid! The legs are a bit distanced, but all in all I like it. _________________ Mihnea

| Fantastic walkaround Christophe!
(Those numbers also annoy me. When I was first collecting, I scraped the numbers off a Coyote. Once I started collecting more earnestly, I of course had to go out and buy another Safari Coyote, since the leg was ruined. I ignore the numbers now.) |

| Thanks for the excellent walk-around Christophe I have to say though, I'm not quite taken with him. He doesn't give me a thrill like the Mojo one does, this is just my opinion of course - I can see good points to this model. _________________ Harriet My *Collection* My *Handmade Animal Sculpture*

It's not the color of numbers that bothers me, it's the location. White wolf has black numbers but stamped on the inside... _________________ Robert

Robert, you can scratch those black numbers from the arctic wolf with a hobby knife - that's what I did. Just do it gently. It's a white plastic, no color under it. _________________ Born to be Wild and Free!

| Thanks Gabe but I won't scratch them off. It doesn't bother me so much on the wolf but on Sable it pokes my eyes out... _________________ Robert

I agree with ken on this. Granted, I have the Safari and not the Mojo, but still, from what I've seen, even though the Mojo seems to be painted much more nicely, and likely has other advantages, the Safari's pose appeals to me more. The Safari Sable is like most of their figures: I like them more when I see them in person. Safari's often don't photograph very well. (Although an exception to this is the recent Safari Whitetail buck and doe. I think they photographed better than they look in person. It seems to be the opposite with Schleich: their figures often photograph better than they look in person. Not always, just often.) Christophe's photos above, however, are quite excellent and give the viewer a very good idea of how the actual figure comes across. |

| As usual your walkarounds are amazing Christophe. I have decided for a lot of replicas seeing them (or looking to your web) Thank you!!! |

| It looks the pose is more important for many people and I respect it, of course. I personally don't like the pose of the Safari figure, legs are too spreed and take out some elegance to the figure and the head turning is a easy and photogenic option used in many Schleich cows. The figure looks nice when looking at the camera but not nice in all of other angles. Curiously, Lineol rarely used this pose used often in modern toys. The walk arround is absolutly excelent and we can see that Safari gave some atention to the detail but failed completly in general shape, hind legs, back, tail in the wrong point, strangled neck and weird chest turn the figure unbalanced in terms of shape. But if 2012 never existed before and this sable was a 2011 release we would see it as a very good replica. :) I'm eager to see Kiki's comparison but maybe I'm being unfair once I'm only seeing pictures but for me gets relatively clear that Mojo is clearly better as well as I'm almost sure that Safari white tails are better than Mojo's. The best point is that we are having some reaction to the Mojo style and the result is a tremendous 2012 Mojo and CollectA lines and Safari reacting completly to the good starting of Mojo in North American market. Schleich is continuing as the sleepy brand under their huge commercial success. Thanks a lot Christophe, everything is very clear in your pictures. |

| Great pictures, thank you for showing! I haven't seen any of the new Sables in real life, but from the pictures I think my favourite (at the moment) is the one from CollectA! _________________ Bojan

When the COLLECTA will be at home, I will make another walkaround and a comparison topic I hope it is sooner than later |
