Schleich 2013 wishes and predictions

Schleich need to retire the meerkats and make some new ones as it's about time for them.A new hippo family with better actions and a new snake like a boa constrictor or a cobra striking but if they made a rattlesnake hissing and its tail shaking,I would count it as a bonus because it isn't easy to make.

It is a very nice pose, but they won't make a model like this. It won't be able to stand without a stand under it..

Honestly I don't want Schleich to release any new horses. Over the last 3-4 years the quality has deteriorated to a point where even I - the staunchest Schleich defender on any model horse forum - have completely lost faith in the brand.
If there are new horses I hope they are few, so that the sculptor has time to do them properly. This year's lot looked like they were designed, approved, and sculpted in a hurry by someone who wasn't very enthusiastic about what they were doing.


Jackylover & Taylcoel - that pose is perfectly feasible without a base, as long as the model is properly balanced.

yes, maybe one side could be heavier than the other maybe this is like what they did with the dinosaurs, they left a few years and also the wild life

They could, but Schleich won't make it. It's too difficult.. And I think it will look horrible. Just like the models of last year. Saw the icelandic stallion today. What a shame

yes, i agree, at first the icelandic stallion looket really good in the booklet but in real it is very horrible but still that should not stop them from making shires

I think it would be nice if they add more birds. Even these which they had in the past in their range, such as Osprey, Tawny Owl or Condor. And next to them also new species: White tailed sea eagle, Goshawk, Great Grey Owl, Black Grouse, Goosander, Whooper swan
