| In my opinion it works nicely as an Aruba rattlesnake. Color is very variable in both rattlesnakes, mainly in pygmy rattlesnakes. However, to be a pygmy, surely they needed to make more contrasting markings, I guess. Also, I think the rattle is too big for a pygmy rattlesnake. Considering also the tube that it belongs is dedicated to endangered species, and Arubas are critically endangered while pygmy rattlers are least concern, I think Aruba is the best match. |

| I agree with you Roger but I can't find any blue Aruba rattlesnake. The mark on the head is also strange. nevertheless we could say it is an odd tan colored Auba rattlesnake |

| I'm thinking it is some sort of civet-like animal, although it's not very specific.
Probably Civetticus civetta, the African palm civet, but with a less-than-perfect paint job. _________________ I used to have an online store, but now it's a Blog exploring the variety in my collection! And while it is too flat, the mask and markings are at least kind of close. _________________ I used to have an online store, but now it's a Blog exploring the variety in my collection! | Next question--where does someone obtain such a creature? There aren't nearly enough viverrids & co! _________________ I used to have an online store, but now it's a Blog exploring the variety in my collection!
