Yes,would agree that its a Sealyham Terrier and as Bonnie had pointed out they were really popular at the beginning and mid twentieth century.

Sorry for confusing you. I was referring to the boy with dog, not to Christophe's dog.

Found in a Dulcop sealed bag with wild animals. It is supposed to be a wolf I guess but for me it looks more like a Gertman sherpherd dog.. What's your thought please ?

It has a curly coat and erect ears--is there a dog breed with that very unusual combination?

I was not familiar with this breed! Not a bad match at all.

That is no wolf. Wink It could pass as a few different German Shepherd type dogs, whatever you like.

Apparently some editor little mistake made it to desapear. Thanks for telling, now it is fixed. I will need to redesign Eikoh page, it is getting huge for TAW editing purposes, I will try to keep it appealing to visitors.

The new Schleich tortoise could be a Chaco Tortoise from Argentina:

They share the same shell structure, also the colour scheme. Moreover, the also have 5 toes.

We've discussed the tortoise many times. Given its small size and its terraria/zoo presentation, the Russian tortoise is what I went with for my collection.

The problem with this is, that the Russian tortoise only has 4 toes. Therefor, in Germany we call it Four-toed tortoise. But the Schleich model has 5 ones.

Oh wow, I didn't realize counting toes was a helpful feature. You are right. The Schleich figure has five toes on the two front feet and four on the two hind feet! The Chaco tortoise is a better fit. Thanks, I'll change my database accordingly :)

It’s obviously volume 18 that was missing.

You are welcome. This is a quite unknown fact. But, I also have a Russian tortoise as a pet since 1996. I know this species in all its facets.

No, it was vol 17 but I fixed it immediately. Laughing
What is vol. 18, do you know?
