| Does anyone have an idea of what species these crabs could be? I'm unsure of their brand. Is the bottom left crab an Atlantic marsh fiddler crab? That's the only fiddler crab I know as it is popular in my area. I'm not sure what the other 3 are, if they even are real species. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] these are Play Visions knockoffs and in these paint jobs here don't represent real species. The originals are: top left: helmet crab top right: striped shore crab bottom left: Mexican fiddler crab bottom right: purple globe crab |

| Wondering what species these could possibly be? My guess is that the black scorpion is an emperor scorpion but I'm not sure on the other species (or if they are even identifiable). [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] _________________ Jolie

What kind of hummingbird is this (from Kabaya)? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] This Kabaya hummingbird was part of a set of Amazon animals. It came with an accompanying card with a photograph of an actual hummingbird. Given the morphology of the bird in the photograph and the Amazon theme, I have identified it in my collection as the blue-tailed emerald, Chlorostilbon mellisugus. The photo on the card appears to show an immature male (maybe female) C. mellisugus, and the figure is a stylized version of what is on the card. I think at the very least, Chlorostilbon is a safe bet. I used illustrations in 'All the Birds of the World' and images on eBird to assist. Thanks a lot, and sorry, I only see this now. Yes, that makes sense. What species is this monkey? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| It could be a lot of things in the Cercopithecus or Macaca genus. More pics maybe ? |

| It's small, so I was hoping it could be a large species in 1/32 scale. It has quite a pronounced beard. No idea what the brand is either, probably a Hong Kong knock-off. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| The tail is too short for any Cercopithecus. For me this is clearly a macaque and given the lenght of tail, the beard, and how well known it's the species (probably the best known of all macaques), this is a Rhesus macaque, Macaca mulatta. _________________ My collection:- (Details):

| Thank you very much. That's good news: As a large male rhesus macaque it is 1/32 scale. |

The tail is a bit too long for Rhesus macaque but it is the best guess |

| Probably the tail lenght is somewhat variable within the species but I don't think the one of the figure is excessively long... [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]_________________ My collection:- (Details):

| Very hard to tell but maybe you're lucky, some people here is really good with it. It looks an immature bird that loves hibiscus. Any particular feature to help the identification? |
