The 2012 COLLECTA Red river Hog walkaround by Kikimalou

I know june is the "SUY wild pigs" month and I'm too busy or too lazy to add my point but here are a few pics to beg your pardon.

Red river hogs models are nearly nonexistent on the market so it was a fantastic surprise for me when I heard about the 2012 CollectA line.

A bit of context now  

The red river hog (Potamochoerus porcus) is a wild member of the pig family living in the Guinean and Congolian forests. It is rarely seen away from rainforests, and generally prefers areas near rivers or swamps.
They eat grasses, berries, roots, insects, molluscs, small vertebrates and carrion, and are capable of causing damage to plantations. They typically live in herds of six to 20 members led by a dominant boar, with sows rearing three to six piglets at a time.
Red river hogs are most active during the night, resting in a self-excavated burrow deep within impenetrable vegetation during the day.  When frightened, the striped piglets crouch and "play possum".  As they get older, flight becomes the more frequent response.  However, when cornered or wounded, these pigs display considerable courage and frequently attack.  Red river hogs are fast runners and good swimmers. A sounder may have a very large home range, with over 4 km / 2.4 miles between resting and feeding areas.

Well, that was a fantastic day in the forum. 3 tremendous walk arrounds of absolutly fantastic figures. After the great Mojo white rhino and gazelles , this time a great replica of an unusual species. I'm glad you already have it Christophe. I know how much you love this animal and fortunately it means that we are receiving it very soon. This forum deserves so nice figures as are CollectA and Mojo ones. Time to deserve a little more money in our wallets.
