THe COLLECTA 2012 Adult giraffe walkaround... By Kikimalou !

I wanted, and Roger wanted too, to show you a few pics of the COLLECTA new giraffe.
IMHO it is a very very good model. I even think it is a BIG improvement among the Modern manufacturer: At least a Giraffe with a nice size (still a bit too small...) with elegant and accurate proportions.
So here are a few pics...

You are an efficient macaque! Now the forum is filled up with little Torbens and you've found time to give another great walk around.
2012 is not only a good year because of the new species we are receiving but also because of the good releases with common species. That giraffe is a very good example, Look at these legs, little hooves, nice painting with a good finish, pose is nice and size goes very well with other large fauna figures, like hippos, rhinos or crocs!
There are other common species that I love in 2012, the Papo wild sowl, Mojo hippo and rhino, etc. The CollectA brown bear would also surprise me too but still waiting!

You are right Roger and I wish it will be even better for common species in 2013 .
About the brown bear, it climb to my wish list top 3... It's funny to see how a model increase his powers of seduction in a collector mind.

Roger, I didn't know that Papo managed to introduce something as poetic as wild soul. I haven't seen it in catalog but I'm not surprised that You love it much

Yes, 2013 will turn another unusual species in a common species but I promised I would not make suspense comments anymore so...!!! The sables turned so common that Mojo anounced a giant sable, CollectA also released a giant sable, but Safari decided to make a common sable!
