I have never seen the sow and her brood before, they are much better looking than in the catalogue

How great that you also think the old CollectA horses have "something" that Deborah`s horses miss, no matter how flashy and beautyful they are !
I thought I was the only one in the world who thought so

@Susanne - I am very proud that our thoughts are pretty much alike
Some of Deborah's equines are mind blowing ...like the White Arabian and the Golden Arabian , the Lusitano stallion , Hanoverians , Freisians etc. are absolutely marvelous wonders .

@Ana - quite interesting to hear that your friend has an Airedale with long neck , like my model

the Brahman cow and calf finally joined their family head Being from India , my hats off to collect A for making such a realistic , detailed cow and calf as I have seen the zebus in our country sides , temple streets , villages etc. They exactly resemble these models as they are very Indianish . I am frozen

Cow - those dewlaps , skin folds under belly , tail , muzzle and finally her eyes are speaking with us


the calf is the culprit who stole my heart


Sherpei puppy is impatient to be cuddled by it's mother sitting happily in a vitrine


Wooly mammoth calf is eager searching his mother who is dwelling in my pre historic section


Donkey foal - he is absolutely cute , getting ready to join his grazing sibling


Siamese cats - I adore them to the core



Thoroughbred mare - she is very expressive , I like her Schleich like resemblance , those sturdy legs and rounded rump and her starring eyes

nice looking brahman cow Doc, its great Collect A made some replica from India, unfortunately, theres no store selling them here. Before there used to be a store carrying Collect A. I hope theres a company too, that would make Philippine fauna, like the Philippine water buffalo, eagle. :)

I know that sow with piglets from local shops. Not sure it is still available. You've found some great angles that help giving more value to that interesting figure. The Zebu cow is splendid, I confess I love more realism than character so it is probably my favorite figure from all you«re showing in this last batch. About Deborah, I am not a big fan of some Breyerish horses from her, some looks all the same but most part I think are much better than previous relatives. Though, old TB is a very nice horse figure too. Previous CollectA are indeed more Schleich likeand old Arabians are the modern horses with more vintage looking I know.

@Susanne - Seriously , the collect A Brahman cattle is really really creating an Indian village ambience .

About Deborah I think that first releases were more Breyerish but that she now is adjusting a little better their work to the CollectA market. The brand is much closer to Schleich than Breyer in terms of products and we already can see some charming horses like the fjord and ponies. I think this balance is positive to the brand and Dartmoor pony, new Shire, etc. Are great sculpts not Breyerish at all not even Schleichy.
Old Arabians are almost textureless and excessively shiny. They also lack movement. But they belong to the start of this story. I have myself the first horse figure retired, an ugly foal!

Great figures, These 2nd life of CollectA is being amasing! This hedgehog is just the best, the old version was in line with those from other brands but this one leveled up the amount of detail.
Other figures are also great!
