| I am really excited for many of those CollectA models to become available. It's great to see pictures of them. Thank you especially for the picture of the Walrus! It looks fantastic! It looks like it is quite possibly a stronger model than either the Schleich or the Safari Walrus. And I agree with you about CollectA Octopus; it is an excellent model and the detail is fantastic.

| Thanks again folks.
@Scott - Schleich Walrus [ my vote ] and collect A are on par . Safari one is brilliant in it's own way [ represents a sub species ] |

I had no idea. Thank you for mentioning it! May I ask what sub-species it is? |

| Congratulations for some more great CollectA figures! When I entered on this forum I predicted a promissing future to CollectA, unless in terms of quality, that was obvious in their evolution along first years. I'm glad I was right! They really need to descontinue some figures to give a range with higher average quality. :) I also think that these zebus are really fantastic as most of their 2012 releases. This elephant remembers me a good discussion with Christophe where I tried to show the good details of the figure while Crhistophe was showing the bad proportions of it. I think we are both right! |

| Nice pictures Doc! I really admire that Giraffe and I'm looking forward to getting that Zebu (c'mon TGF, hurry up and send it!).
I'm hoping that someone will eventually post a set of photos comparing the CollectA, Safari, and Papo Zebus. (Alas, I can't do it: I don't have the Papo and have no prospects for getting it; and the CollectA is in the mail. In an ideal world, the photo shoot would include Harriet's Safari repaint as well.)
oh, and I almost forgot that bullyland has one as well.

| I will be purchasing the Striped Hyena and Red River hog. However, do you think the hyenas legs(Kind of noticed form the photo) are a bit to long? Also, I think the adult walrus is a nice figure, but perhaps a bit to thin? |

| @ Baltimore zoo ; I feel the hyena's legs are perfectly proportional to it's body and head. You can definitely go ahead adding this one to ur collection . and the Walrus , though bit leaner , excellently detailed and an absolute marvelous figurine. Pls. don't miss it . Just like humans , every animal after all , varies in size in it's own species . I am sure , it goes well with the Schleich and Safari ltd. guys . My rating is SCHLEICH first followed by the rest . Thank you Kiki , the giraffe is a masterpiece . Thank you Scott , Katty and Roger , for sure Brahma bull is an excellent figurine @ Roger - Asian elephant , to my knowledge is a highly decent figurine and the proportions don't seem to be bad at all . Only thing is that if would have been in much bigger scale , it will look magnificient . |

Doc Three collectors... Four different taste indeed I still don't have the COLLECTA but, between SAFARI Ltd and SCHLEICH, there is no doubt : The SAFARI Ltd is Number 1 I made a topic about the walrus HERE with a nice discussion - Dr.Narayanan wrote:
