I heard this was a Chap Mei. Found it from ebay for $20ish dollars? He's HUGE..I'd say over 14 inches long..something like 9 inches tall? Plastic with rubber horns and tail. His head can move up and down. I think he used to make sound effects. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]EEeee a mouse! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]He's a real trouble maker..look at them holes! Pow pow! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Elephantastic mammoth! Chap Meis always have so much expression and personality - and in the case of this guy, he's pretty dang well made too! The holes make me suspect he's from some sort of hunting playset, am I right? _________________ Stuff you should be reading: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

I know very little about them. But I did a little bit of research and I think he came in some sort of playset? I also think there is a bootleg version of him. I'd love to collect more Chap Mei's! I just saw how many other animals they make and they are very nice!

This chap is really impressive. It is a shame that it is scared with such a small mouse that I cannot see it. It is funny to see a mammoth in such a modern looking place.

AWESOME Me too, I LOVE Chap Mei ! I think the holes are screw holes, - can you see if there are little screw inside ? I have a very ugly octtopus with the same kind of holes, he can move the "arms" when I press a button, so I think the screws are attached to some kind of mecanism inside the model. Congratulations, Pooky, whith this magnificent model

| so i did a test
i went upstairs to get my chap mei mammoth's
the 2 dark ones,,big and short,,make sound
brighter brown one,,was very heavy
he makes no sound,no battery's can go in,, so i opend the mammoth
there was no mechanic in side, only a weight in the back leg
body is a bit different,,you can't open a small box for the battery's because it's not there
so,,what type do you have
a heavy one our the batteryed sound one??

Viking?! Well, that's the most accurate representation of Norse history I've seen all week... Awesome mammoth though, and that "viking" gear is just the sort of thing I would've loved as a kid. _________________ Stuff you should be reading: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
