Yesterday evening I was experimenting with new ways to present models on my home-page.
Because the production numbers etc is quite confusing, I chose the rhinos for culprits    

I learned a couple of lessons :
- My photo-program is NOT cuited for inserting text in pictures in a tidy way  
- When taking pictures of several models,  it can be smart to put some of them on a little box or such

Here you see the newst Schleich-rhino, - or rather the male from 2009, with nail polish lavishly applied on both nails and horns

Next  to the gorgeous, old Indian rhinos , and my experiments with typing directly on the photos :

Now I found a Bullyland box, containing Donkey from Winnie the Pooh .
Much easier to see the models that way  
The lady in front was made from 2002-2008.

Here are the Black Rhino ladies.
When the baby arrived, she changed to a darker colour, but not Item no.

And last : The black rhino male ( s).
Originally he was only made from '9 to '13, which is surprising for such a beautyful model, but this year a bit more paint was applied, and he got a fine, new item no
Unfortunately he lost the baby in '13, and this year he lost his wife in the catalogue
But don't despair ! Perhaps they will be back with red and purple nails/horn next year ?

Simone, that Simba Indian rhino is very nice actually. It seems we were not able yet of introducing info about Simba collections on TAI. I don't remember seeing it before. How is it? solide, large sized or... Thanks!

Noemi is right - the Simba rhino is massive and about Schleich size. As I don't have another rhino at the moment, Westi shows the size
