MÖJO FUN 2014 wishes

I would also really live to see a Pére David's deer, a pampas deer, a musk deer, and an Eld's deer. For antelopes, I would love a common eland, nilgai, dik dik, klipspringer, oribi, and four horned antelope. Finally, topping my list, someone please, asiatic water buffalo and Ankole cattle!!!!!!

I would love to see a sloth bear!

Asia: saiga, snub-nosed langur, Japanese serow, nilgai, sloth bear, king cobra

Africa: hartebeest, topi, Hamadryas baboon, blackthroat monitor, brown hyena

The Americas: caiman lizard, anaconda, boa constrictor, giant otter, guanaco

Australia, Islands: cassowary, perentie monitor, wombat, thylacine, Haast's eagle, tree kangaroo

a ostrich or a giant forest hog or a short faced bear would be good

I wish me some apes from mojo
And please new zebras, and some baby animals.

I have a little bit of Hope to get a Standing male Gerenuk from Mojö or Collecta-would be great, especially because, at last, we have Gerenuks AGAIN in an european Zoo -after more than 44 years the last one has died at Frankfurt Zoo !

Witch european zoo you mean? In the "zootierliste" i don't have found nothing...  

At Berlin Tierpark ( not the Zoo ! ).Because they are not yet "offical"on exhibit, you can't find them in the Zootierliste, but since yesterday, thyy can use the seperate exhibit in front of the barn. You can see Pictures of them here :

Cats (domestic ones) :) Falcons and hawks.
And horses, but only if they are made by Anna. Preferably ponies=)

2014?  Heck, I just wish they'd release the 2013 models already.  No sign of anything here in the states.  I'm almost expecting some of the 2013 models to become 2014 models by default.

If I had to pick one animal, it would be a hartebeest. Now that I have sables, eland, and bongo covered, I need another impressive antelope species.

The Gerenuks at Tierpark Berlin are on exhibit now- The male has already mated the female,so in 7 months the Tierpark could annocue the first Gerenuk fawn in europe since the last one was born, but not raised, in 1967 at Frankfurt Zoo..

The Problem is, both pairs are inbred animals,and the mortality of the fawns is very high.So I would'nt be to optimistic, that out of these two pairs could grow a new Population in europe without importing more animals from the Usa, and I don't belive, the interest of other Zoos in Gerenuks is large-they are very nervous animals, and ist very, very diffcult to keep them behind fences...If they frighten, they run blind with highspeed into fences. This happens also with other antelopes, but Gerenuks brokes their legs or the neck, and if this happens ,it means their death.

They are inbreed? That's "food" for the animal protection organizations. And only an group with one male? Or the females also fight?
