North Light horses are definately not toys - they break very easily and esp. their ears are quite delicate

Susanne, what a difficult question! Especially for you I started to check it out - and lost count somewhere around 1900something. But I'm still missing three shelves and loads of boxes ... so, lets just say there are roundabout 2300 horses Laughing

Stunning horses. I already have a Norman cob and think of getting some other heavy breeds.
But it's a surprise for me that they have a Norwegian Fjord:)

Here are the last of my North Light Horses
Most of them are the size of Breyer horses like this one
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
But they also can be tiny like this donkey foal
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
or enormous like this one - the mighty war horse of hero Cuchulainn

Yes. Sure, here he is [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Oh, cute fjords. I should probably get one=)

I like your horses, esp the rearing one. But AFAIK Cuchulainn's two horses used to be grey (from Maha), the one of a heavy type, and a black one (hack).

Gorgeous collection!! I love North light, such a shame the company was sold and now they are all made in China Sad I have two originals and one made in China. The two originals are the Cob in bay and a dapple grey new forest pony, I love them. That Fjord is STUNNING! I must find one, have you any idea how much these are worth now, the fjord I mean - I love the mouse Dun!

I'm not sure. I think the only hope is looking on ebay, because as you said, the original North Lights are no longer produced. I'm not sure if Wade has the fjord. Probably not, becaus it is not listed in the box catalogs. I found my fjord on ebay.de and paid around 70 Euros for it.

Thanks Simone, I suppose the Mouse Dun is harder to find than the normal colourway. Too bad for be I didn't buy more when they were still being made in England, I remember looking at them all on the official North Light/Wade website, all the horses and you could choose what colour you wanted Sad one model I'm still after is the Clydesdale in brown, he went on eBay for only £20 the other week, but I missed the auction. Mad
