He looks much better than on catalogue photos, but still is far behind their Arabian mare. But he isn't the worst model horse around. However, his colour is awful, way too reddish for my taste!
Although he has quite many flaws, I would say he has a lot of potential for customization! I will buy at least one to make an Arabian stallion in halter pose. But most probably I will end up with a few of them in various poses

Now I just have to wait until this model will be available in my country, which is supposed to be this month!

Is fantastic Congrats maybe for the next year Collecta make this model in black or white.

Is the material soft, or a hard one? (well, I mean is this horse like the 2010 figures, or 2011?)

I am especially impressed by the hoves, - at last good, healthy hooves !!!!
Most of all they are not just triangels seen from the side ...I do not know the word for the backside of the hoof in English. We call them "Dragter" in Danish

A bay one is already available and a black pinto
The material is quite hard, only the extended front leg is rather soft and bendy. The other legs are hard and the model stands secure.

It's called "frog" in English.
I agree, hooves are great, way better than in their smaller horses!

Small Traditional? I thought he's 1:12, which would make him Classic...
Could you show some comparison photos with Traditional-sized and possibly Classic-sized horses?

I was too lazy, - now I found a picture, - I mean the heel is usually unnaturally flat in models

Arabians are one of my favorite horse breeds, this one is fantastic! I especially love his coloring!

In Danish it is called "stråle" which means "beam"

"Arrow" is a very good word, - but FROG

He is made of the same hard rubber-stuff as all collectas. He has 3 hard legs, but the extended one is softer and easy to bend.

@ Susanne - in german it is similar. We call it "Strahl", meaning beam too
