Thank you Harriet and Ana. Yes I love the musk ox best too, but the rest are great also. But now looking at my pictures... Its either the camera or the photographer who cant take a decent picture... (my bet is on the photographer , I guess I'm not used to it yet, and need to experiment more)

Wonderful additions Paige! Very nice. I love the sculpt of the Caribou and the Grizzly. But that Musk Ox is glorious. I'm very happy for you!

Some immortal acquisitions there Paige (o)): I love the musk ox Inspite of me seeing it trillion times , it still seduces me Thats why I acquired 2 versions [ China and Portugal ] . If I get a chance, I would go for one more .

The papo rein deer is brilliant , indeed . The Papo vintage wolf is lovely too

Thank you animalluvr6, Widukind, and Susanne. Yes Photobucket is stupid a lot. Lately I have had issues with my internet, so I cant tell if that is the problem or just the website. Well, here are the rest.

The tally is at 739 figures now. With a few doubles but not many.
So I like the Papo giraffe, but he is very big, he will give my other giraffe bull some competition.
The Jaguar is just amazing, so much detail, and gives my Schleich boys some company.
The skunk is really cute, and made my Schleich skunk less lonely.
The anteater is the first of his kind in my collection, but hopefully that Papo 2013 one will join my collection when it comes out.
The jackal is one of those Schleich figures I never thought I would see in my collection let alone in person.
The Schleich rhino baby joined his daddy after a long wait.
The Safari iguana is kinda on the big side in comparison to the Schleich iguana, but is truly an awesome figure as well.
The Schleich Orangutans joined their mom and wife after another looooooong wait.
The Papo chimp kinds scared me at first (chimps are my least favorite out of the ape family) but she is growing on me, she is kinda big too.
The oryx is really cool, but the thin-ness of his horns makes them bent at an odd angle.
The Schleich camel joinds his bactrian friend and helps him feel not so old compared to the herd.
Lastly I kept a double gnu to give me a threesome of gnus (two adults and one calf).
There are a bunch of others that are doubles that I already have, so I willbe posting a sell/trade thread soon. They are old or new, some even with tags, so stay tuned.
Oh, and the HUGE whale is from Safari the monterrey bay series. I like him a lot too.

Congratulations Paige, some very nice additions indeed. From Schleich I like the jackal, I hope to find one without scratched nose too!
Papo giraffe is not large, maybe Schleich and Mojo giraffes are really small. You're saying about Papo anteater? And about Safari with baby? I have the Schleich, is very cute but the realism is all on Safari side, I even doubt Papo can make it better but we'll see to comment acertively after it.
About photobucket, I only used it to see how it works and they sent to me a form to get feedback from users. If you don't like how it works maybe the best is to say it exactly in this form.
It is incredible how social networks tools are everywhere on Photobucket and the essential things of a photo hosting service are sometimes so unfriendly.
Looking forward to see your next acquisitions.

I suppose I meant the giraffe is larger than I am used to. I like its size, but it barely fits in my shelves! And I totally forgot about the safari anteater, I would like to have that one too. There is just so many to collect and choose from! My problem is that I instead of deciding on my favorite figure, I would rather just buy them all and compare them... but of course that gets VERY expensive!

Congratulations, they are so wonderful animals! I think jackal and giraffe are especially beautiful Congrats!

Thanks Doc, the pic from the seller wasnt all that great, so when they arrived I was ecstatic to see how perfect they were! All the Schleich oldies (I am partial as I am an Schleich oldie collector, as far as new ones are concerned I am trying to be more picky) have hardly any scratches on them at all, they had the original bag (although it was opened, since the pics were of the figures just standing on a table) but perfect! A few of the more recent figures from other companies had tags etc and little plastic thingies to keep their feet/horns etc from bending. I was very grateful to get them. And they all seem surreal still to be sitting on my shelves!

I love the Schleich Anteater and Orangutan family! They are wonderful sculpts and basically treasures. I'm really happy for you!

I love the Papo Jaguar. (Except that I think it is really an excellent Leopard sculpt painted with a Jaguar coat. But putting this bit of fussiness aside, it's an amazing model.)

I ended up getting TWO of the Safari Oryx because I was so frustrated with the horns. There is nothing to be done. In the case of these particular horns, I wouldn't recommend the hot/cold method of trying to straighten or shape them. I found that applying heat to plastic this thin just warped them permanently out of shape.

These are some really impressive newcomers. Congratulations!

Thank you so much Scott, for the compliment and the advice! I agree about the Jaguar, the painting etc. is fantastic, but the proportions of its body would have better suited a leopard. And yes, all my Schleich loners finally got their families all at once after waiting for years, particularly Mrs. Orangutan and Mr. Indian rhino, they are very content.

Susanne is completely incredible! My marmot finally came and there was even a mini marmot in my package too! Here is the picture and I  love them dearly.
