| You know I am not very interested in figures value but I can see you got very rare and often expensive figures. Brown pelican is a good example. Both pelicans are great figures, I have a little preference for white one although I don't have any of them. Others are also great, congratulations! |

| Thank you Susanne, Jonas, pm64, Ana, Simone, LeeAnn, and Roger! I'm rather happy with my new figures too, of course. Pippen is... well. He has had recurrent ear infections over the past four months (ranging from common yeast to contracting some very aggressive bacterial) and hasn't been well since. Our vet in town finally said we may have to see a specialist. So yesterday we traveled almost 3 hours to have a vet specialist give him an endoscopy of his ear, do a good flushing, and possibly take out a foreign body (like a seed) if there was one irritating the ear. He's ten and weighs only about 3-4 pounds, so I was worried he wouldn't even come out of the anesthesia. He came out like a champ (a very groggy and tired one) but there was no seed. They flushed out a ton of smelly gunk (the kind of stuff I've been trying to clean out of his ear for 4 months depending on the nature of his current infection) and scraped out a lot of "prolafic" tissue (dead icky tissue). So today he is home, sleeping a lot, draining blood and icky stuff out of his ear and is on new heavily aggressive antibiotics for his current (resistant) bacterial infection. The sad thing is since there was no seed in his ear, and this operation cost a fortune already, if this and the drugs don't fix him we will have to put him down because the next step is an even more expensive surgery that we cannot afford. So... needless to say we are praying that this fixed the problem because I'm not ready to lose him yet. Anyways, sorry for going on and on... _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Oh no, that's terrible! When I had my basset hound she had horrible ear infections, but not nearly to that point. I hope he gets better soon, both for your peace of mind and his own relief. What breed is he? |

| He is a very small maltipoo (maltese-toy poodle cross). The slightly funny thing (though its barely funny haha) is that I also have a cocker spaniel, and I always thought the would be the one to get severe ear infections. I also hope he gets better, I've had a couple rough nights with him, and today he just seems so out of it, though his ear doesn't smell (it almost made me vomit, and I'm not usually the type) and it seems to feel better (in terms of his being in pain due to the bacteria, of course it hurts since they removed tissue). Anyways, the vets just haven't been able to figure out what is causing them, and he has had endless infections over the last 4+ months. Here is a picture of him (note that he is tired and groggy): [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]_________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] The Papo donkeys I got a few weeks ago, I just couldn't resist their charm. Then my package from Phil came yesterday! I was trying to decide between the pelicans and the poodles when he contacted me about models for sale, and decided on the pelicans due to the fact they are hard to find in the US and end up being hugely expensive. I was so excited to see one of the poodles in my parcel too, now I just have to find his white buddy someday. I love the kudu, and the pelicans, and have searched and dreamed for a long time to get them. Thanks so much Phil!!! What a batch Great great selection |

| Minor update: Pip's doing much better so far. He is much more chipper (for an older guy) and seems to mostly be himself again. His ear doesn't stink (hopefully it never does), he doesn't act like it hurts much at all when I medicate it (which is surprising since it was "scraped"), and he seems to be feeling better. Hopefully the bacteria can just go away for good, the ear infections will cease, and I can have him around for a few more years. I'd miss him terribly if this doesn't work... But as I said, he seems to feel much much better! _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | I'm sick on Christmas... Though I have a whole group of great animals to add to my collection so I'm not too sad. I got a few safari figures, a few Schleich I had to catch up on, three toobs (the desert toob, the cryptids toob!!!, and the mammals skulls toob not pictured), and the Year of the Horse Chinese Zodiac figure from Breyer (has a neat wood grain to it... maybe I'm just weird but I think it is cool). And... after several months of just rain and hail... finally snow! This morning it is blizzard conditions, and there is already a foot of snow on the ground from just a few hours. | Why are you sick of Christmas if you've got so much new stuff? These are just great - specially the Breyer horse. Really nice that wood - like pattern. I also like the Safaris - cows and deers _________________ Jonas Animals are my friends. I don't eat my friends. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| It doesn't look like you've gone out of your way to be naughty this year. That's a grand little haul! I'd be quite interested to see head-on shots (or maybe even small walkarounds?) of the Herefords if ever you've the time and inclination - I've been forever on the fence about getting them. Get better soon! |
