What do you think is the #1 most wanted figure by collectors?

I have always wondered this and was wondering what you guys thought. I have no clue.

Why do you think there is a number 1 for for all collectors? I don't even know the number 1 for me. I could say the Lineol sable antelope but actually I'm not doing anything to get it because it is hard to find and out of my possibilities. Obviously I'm not counting with customs.
From modern brands I already have almost everything I like once my choices are rarely rare figures. Maybe Bullyland hornbill is my most wanted. From Japanese brands surely the Colorata penguins set. As a collector I don't care how much a figure will worth once I don't collect thinking in making money with the figures.

I guess that I worded it funny. I ment in general, what species of animal are collectors wishing to be made? Like one, never made before animal.

We got a good indikation last year when Mojo asked both here and on their facebook .
If you go to the first page of Mojo, you can see the suggestions there.

It also showed that what people want varies A LOT !

At that time it was the sable antilope, - and we got no less than FOUR
And next year a lot are following from Mojo and CollectA.

At present my most wanted are the Saiga antilope and a fossa

It's not only what specie, but how is it done I think? On the top of my wish list are Linoel bactrian camels for example (with many others like fishing owl by Kaiyodo and such...) -bactrian camels are not rare on the market but sometimes it's quality that makes the figure unique. If I could see as good bactrians by new brands, or for example one phenomenal figure of African Elephant (either forest or bush specie but in BEST quality) I would be happiest and probably buy 4 of this at once

Anyways from species rarely manufactured perhaps any tree kangaroo would be good news for me Or any pika? Or Oilbird(Steatornis caripensis)? Or Canadian lynx? There is too many to think about!!

Actually, I'm being lucky these days, my most wanted animals are being released by CollectA and Mojo. The top of my list was some time ago occupied by an Iberian lynx and Mojo made it.
This year, CollectA surprised me with 3 top figures on my list, the blackbuck, maned wolf and Tadjik markhor.
Mojo is also giving me more top wanted figures like the gaur, sloth, proboscis monkey, emu, etc.
The top of my list at this moment is the Mojo unrevealed surprise so I need a new list.
In this new list there is the bongo and babirusa that were expected to Mojo range in 2013 but that probably will see the light in 2014.
I'm only commenting animals for modern brands once these species you can find in vintage or Japanese brands, except the Iberian lynx.
Now, in my most wanted species there is a water buffalo, impala, Canada lynx, brown hyena, kakapo, but as Susanne suggested, you can find loads of lists on Mojo section.

too many, i would like unusual species that the most of us never heard before (and i too )

Tamandua :-100% I need one!!! Both Playvision and Kaiyodo make one, but they are really rare.

yes Andreas. im too lazy to read every single topic in STS.

I wish Schleich made more of the horse sets...
