Another great contribution! This one would make a fantastic trio with the kosmoceratops and the Safari vagaceratops. By the way, do you have a vague idea about which species it represents? Nice pictures and thanks for sharing.

Subject: Nigersaurus Deluxe Walkaround Sun 13 Jan 2013, 21:47
Time for a big one. Last one of the day
Basic Facts. Found in Nigeria, Nigersaurus was a sauropod dinosaur with an unuseul looking head that resembles a modern day vacuem cleaner. It is often depicted as a grazeing giant that eats up plants from the ground. Unlike most other sauropods, Nigersaurus(and its Rebacasaur kin) had more teeth then usual, that were close up to the front of the mouth and in the back creating a everlastng dental battery, which is somthing that best known from ceratopsians and Hadrosaurs.
Thanks again for another walk around of a CollectA dinosaur. I remember seeing this figure in a shop and I confess I didn't know the animal before watching it. Obviously the vaccuum cleaner mouth got my atention and turns it in a remarkable animal. CollectA decided to introduce this animal in its Deluxe series what is interesting once larger replicas have usually less diversity. Looking forward to see next review.
Glad you all like the photos. He was a little tricky to photograph due to his size.
My next one will be a Two in one, on the same figure.

Basic Facts
Although it may be the king of the dinosaurs, Tyrannosaurus is far from the largest theropod dinosaur on earth, However recent studys have shown that it may have been closeer to its competetors in sze.

Subject: Majungasaurus/thoulus Walkaround Tue 15 Jan 2013, 02:20
Basic Facts
Majungasaurus used to be called Majungathoulus, and was thought to have been a bone headed dinosaur like Pachycephalasaurus. However, further discoverys had shown that its true form was a medium sized theropod dinosaur thats part of the ableiaosaur family(which includes the now famous Carnotarus). It lived on the island of Madagasgar, were its thoght to have been the top predetor in its domain, and there is even evidence that suggests that this dinosaur had resorted to cannibalism in some cases
This is one of my favorites, although I somehow still don't have that model. It's a shame the hands are pronated, but at least they're appropriately teeny.

Agreeing or not, liking or not, I repeat my comment, CollectA is giving us some new blood to this toy animal world and it is remarkable. Ironically this is a pure action figure. Next year, maybe we will see a dead T-rex with 3 holes in its belly. That is fair. Thanks again for presenting another CollectA prehistoric figure!
