Hello fishermen, fishtank collectors and other Popeyes.

The Fossil fish set from COLORATA reach my home at last.

I'm very happy to show you those 6 wonderful critters. I hope you will enjoy.

The Asian Arowana
Scale : 1/7 to 1/12

I thought about this set a long time ago. Like you I was not sure but It worth the price if you like unusual species.

It is a little bit confusing, because they are called fossil fish, because they are all still alive today, but maybe just because they are ancient species, that are still around... Idea

Yes Willy they are ancient fishes... from 2004 ! So we are some kind of fossil collectors Laughing

About LG, I can't find enough time to do all the things I wish to share on STS so... No post on LG. scratch

Last year I bought the 2011 Fossil fish serie box because COLORATA changed some models of the box. The Mekong giant catfish (Pangasianodon gigas) is retired and two new models were added.

The Alligator gar (Atractosteus spatula)

The Saddled bichir (Polypterus endlicheri)

the other models had slightly different paintings like the Pirarucu (Arapaima gigas)
