| I confess I find this game funny but the first list of T4 almost makes me give up of showing mine. If we list all the animals on catalogue, we will guess all retired, isn't it? Here is my list: Grazzing zebra Warthog female Black Rhino Badger kits Standing raccoon Wolverine Lying lamb Poitou Donkey and foal Fleckvieh cattle Haflinger foal lying Andalusian family Friesian Stallion Quarter Horse Shetland pony |

I hope this list is correct, I do not buy too many figures in a few months / weeks. |

You really think the wonderful Quarter and Friesian Stallion will go? I think the Friesian Mare is more likely to go, as she is much 'older'... And the Quarter.. Does he maybe have bad sales? Those two guys are certainly of the better in their horses line, I think. :) |

Those two guys are certainly of the better in their horses line, I think. :) i agree the frisean mare it is more likely to retire first along with the foal and have a new frisian mare and foal but mabye they will retire the whole family for a new one which i doubt the quarter horse might retire or they give it a mare and foal or they leave it _________________ T4

| I have a feeling that the iceys might go.
And the falabella stallion doesn't match the mare and foal very well... maybe we'll get a new one? |

| Thank you for your thougts T4 I wonder what their retirements are based on? 'Just' bad sales? Anyone know? :) Tinker mare is like she's been around forever, and also the Fallabella Stallion. But Iceys are quite new, but to retire them already.. i wonder if they have a limit for how quick they can do so? |

I think I read somewhere that they retired 70083 because it was too much to have 70083 and 70063 - two higher-priced items - at the same time. Plus it was difficult selling both together at once. So I suppose having "too many" of a particular priced or type item is a reason for retiring. And of course the "bad sales." :) |

And of course the "bad sales." :) That's very intesting! Those are surely very high prized, but if the math also applies to smaller models, then maybe a pattern could be found. I think I won't do so, but the thought is interesting. Also with the new Shires they introduced brown dots in the horse range. I don't recall any of the older big horses to be more than grey dotted :) |

Those two guys are certainly of the better in their horses line, I think. :) Carola, sorry for replying so late. :) The quality of Schleich figures is is not considered in my guesses, only in my wishes and those are not definitviely my wishes. Good Schleich figures have often a short life, musk ox and mountain goat are two good examples. Of course I can be wrong and I agree that the Friesian stallion is much nicer than mare and it surely is selling well, just trying to guess. The same for Quarter horses. Maybe my wildlife guesses were more rational once I am more used with this kind of figures. But again, behind my guesses are more commercial than quality reasons. |
