Congrats, Susanne, especially for the robin! I saw this figure never before... How are dimensions of this bird? I don´t know exactly the size of westie and armadillo but it seems to be really large bird!

They're very nice, Susanne! This armadillo has a baby, I guess.
The robin is also unknown for me but it is very very beautiful!

Yes, Robin is app 8 cm to the top of his head

Ohh...I don`t know either. The Dodo is the same style, - perhaps there are more ? like them ?

Wow, you've found a picture of foal's mother well inside of our forum!
Why not a grevy's? Unless the painting tends to be a grevy's. We cannot expect as many strips as we see in a real zebra but we can try to check from which species they based their work.
Notice the white belly  where strips suddenly stop. Also, notice hind quarters, in plains zebras, striping is completely different. Strips curve backwards and tend to be wider. In grevy's strips continue naturally from the body to the close to the tail being narrow as well as happens up from the hind legs forming only a little area of transition close to the tail.
