| I love the Papo Carnotaurus myself. It's an amazing sculpt.Carnotaurus was suggested and suggested once and once. And now it's a hit. That's what happens when a manufacturer hears from its fans I still don't own any 2013 Figure, but my next purchase will be this awesome figure |

Does Papo have ears? :allien: Last year, the DTF ran a poll on what creture Papo should make next. The winning item was Carnotaurus. So the man who started the poll made made the suggestion to Papo, and it worked. Also, we told them to use the Sideshow model as a refrence(not to copy it) Thanks Takama for giving this interesting information. :)If I understand, Papo only entered in this project after knowing the result. :DWe did it in 2011 choosing a wild life figure to Mojo and the winner was the sable antelope. In 2012 4 sables were launched from 3 different brands. It is great to know that Papo is also opened to collectors suggestions. As a huge enthusiast of the brand, I would love a project like that at STS but I was not enough fortunate while contacting them. Maybe this DTF member has a better contact. Even more unusual is that a brand, with a such remarkable and popular style, accepts the suggestion to find inspiration in a statue from another company. Was it to prevent the usual Papo colossal mistakes? Well, the strange part is that although it was made closely with a community with a high knowledge about prehistoric creatures, the brand calls it a carnosaurus in its catalogue. Certainly a typographic mistake. Could you please give me the link of that poll? |

| I have quite a collection of Papo Dinosaurs, and their Carnotaurus is another fantastic addition with wonderful detail and vicious open/close jaw articulation. I only have one minor quip, and that is that the pose of this figure does make it the most unsteady on it's feet, leaving it the most likely to tumble and loose it's balance on a display shelf. Each time I view my Papo Dinosaurs, the Carnotaurus has invariably toppled over. My quick-fix solution has been to give it extra balance by propping the tip of it's tail against Papo's robust T-Rex - scientifically inaccurate, I know. Looking forward to the Dimetrodon - the pics I have seen of this figure look cool !!! |

That is so irritating !!! My carnotaurus stands fine, but my Allosaurus can`t stand at all without the plastic, he was shipped with |

That is so irritating !!! My carnotaurus stands fine, but my Allosaurus can`t stand at all without the plastic, he was shipped with Everytime I get a bipedal dinosaur figure,I leave the plastic support for a while (a week more or less)for ensure it won't have stability problems. That almost always works.I always save the support for in the case the figure falls over.In that case,I'd suggest you leave it with the support. Hope this helps |
