The 2013 Papo Texas 51156 Longhorn bull ;-)

Papo sometimes uses parts of some old figures in new figures, couldn't it be from an old mold but with new horns?
It could explain the poor texture. Though, I don't know Papo cattle enough to see if it fits with a previous mold.

I agree susanne, the Charolais cows after all are great models.

At last, i must say I'm very happy to see PAPO's improvements  

So many years to look at bad catalogue pics which were worse than the real models   And now... At last, the official pics are far better than the real models  

I know this new bull found the best place in the world to live in and will have a happy life but I can't explain myself the PAPO psychology

I just got mine from MPV and I must say he doesn't look bad at all! I'm happy to have him!

I m just back from Paris where I bought some critters ( hope to send soon photos) and I was SOOOO happy to find this huge fantastic bull...ok ok the DETAIL is not perfect but having it in my hands does really make a particular impression and I love the horns' shape and their width ..as far as the gap between the head and the upper part of the skull I think it's very gaur..ish impression and does not let me down at all..in other words.... I love it !!!

I don't think this Texas longhorn is bad, It's just the Papo over beautify the figure. And papo did the same to the grizzly bear too.

Thank you indeed for these informative photos. I have been waiting long and eager to buy it but now I am very disappointed and have decided not to. I think the catalogue is beautified too much and it is almost cheating for an on-line buyer like me.

 I must say that mine stood on the piano for a short while, and since then he has had a good, long rest in a drawer  

Ugly. Glued horns, ears and balls.

The Schleich Longhorn is the best of them. But Papo makes good dinosaurs, tigers and mutants.
