That is brilliant from all angles, even frontally and telling frontally, it looks excelent!
The detail is so fine that I find a not solide pattern a potential distracting color to such a fine sculpt but of course you won't present it in a banal color. :)
Looking forward to see how this wonderful pony will look after painted.

This ancient breed bears some resemblance to the Tarpan, so I think blue dun ( Grullo in American) would be the perfect colour

Thank you friends! The mould is not ready yet, so I have no copies to paint yet. I think grullo is indeed great idea! But one copy will also be painted bay tobiano, as this is the colour of Huculs of my friend. Can't wait to paint them too

Oh, I almost forgot about this topic, thank you for finding it back The Spotted Cat . But this Hucul  wasn't moulded and here is why:
Unfortunately the horse was never finished. I wasn't satisfied with his anatomy and proportion and I remade it several times (lot of cutting and glueing back and all over again) but never got it quite right.  

Eventually I drastically reshaped him with a dremel tool and its new shape was completely different than my first idea. So I added him a Fjord like mane and send him to Dark Pegasus who wanted to try further remakes and customising on this work. I hope he will do something out of this. I couldn't work on it any longer as I really completely lost my enthusiasm for this ever changing sculpture.
At the present moment the horse require lots of work with sanding and Apoxie because after quick and "furious" Dremel reshaping its surface was very rough (lots of sanding necessary here) and there were also cracks in his legs (need to be filled with Apoxie). So, the further questions about this model will have to go to Dark Pegasus but we agreed the model will not be moulded and even if finished it will stay as OOAK.

This is one of these project which teach me about what kind of frustration can be associated with sculpting.
But I will continue sculpting other, new projects anyway

I'm very glad you weren't discouraged by this and will continue sculpting Don't let it get you down - you only learn by your mistakes.

Can't wait to see him when Alexsander is done, especially now that he has a Fjordie mane!!!
