Schleich 2016 Speculations/Wishlist

I think new figures would be:
Anteater
Toucan
Ostrich, female
Camels
Hyena pups
Orangutan, adult and young
Rhino calf
New giraffes
New lion cubs for the old ones
Some kind of amazing cattle

Schleich seems to be adding several animals from South America in the past few years. Schleich seems to like their apes and birds too.

I wish they would be very creative and make animals that many people don't really know about like cabybaras, tapirs, babirusas, bongos, okapis, cassowarys, and many more like that. I also wish they would come out with animals they haven't done in a while, like armadillos, raccoons, black bears, musk ox, oryx antelope and several others.

Just in a few months, weeks, years blah blah we have 2016 news yay in 2016 I think schleich will still give us what they usually give us such as al these popular animals and in 2015 we had some unexpected species like snakes, and some birds but no monkeys.
Well this is my view on what will happen for schleich in 2016. This is not a wishing list by the way nor the real thing just my views on what schleich will possibly give to us but seriously I actually don't care on what most brands are going to give us now as im not into collecting as I don't have many 2015 schleich figures I think I have just the lion the orange tigers and the crocodile and the hyena.

As always I will start my list of with what I think will retire as I always do but first I want to talk about retirements for 2016.

Ok so schleich as always give us retirements and it can be good and it can be bad but I think we can pretty much guess which figurines are going to be retired in 2016. However the problem actually is I kinda prefer seeing what will be retired first because it gives us a hint to what will come out.
In 2013 we had a ton load of figures retired in 2014 and 2015 we had less figures retired but more than they have retired in the past but I do remember schleich retired a ton load of figures in 2009.

However schleich will probably retire lots like in 2013, 2014 and 2015 in 2016 but if they do retire lots than I think it will probably be the same amount in 2014 and 2015 but anyway here is my view on what schleich will retire for 2016

(Ok I really think that schleich should make a new lion cub(s) for 2016 epically since the other lions have been retired such as in 2012 we have the young lion retired, 2013 lying lioness and lying cub, 2014 lioness walking and 2015 lion male and cub playing. and I think that the remaining lion family should have been retired in 2014 after they retired the lioness lying and lion cub lying in 2013. Which means I believe that the last old lion the lion cub standing will be retired in 2016)

(I think that schleich will bring new giraffes and zebras since the current ones have been around for while now I mean the giraffe female and calf have been around since 2004 and were actually some of my first schleich figures)

Leopard
(I think a new leopard would be good in 2016 because the old one have been around for nearly 8 years but is however one of my favourite schleich. I think that around the time the leopard came out I think that most schleich were good 2007, 2008 and 2009 were probably the best years for schleich in my opinion. Another reason for it to retire its because the leopard cub retired in 2013 and was around in 2009 so the cub was 2009-2013 while the adult leopard is 2007-present. Which makes me think that schleich are starting to do that now but its makes me think that they will retire the adults the following year. We might get a leopard cub in 2016 but I don't think a whole family of leopards though. Also if we do get a new leopard then maybe it will be the same mould as the 2013 black panther as schleich is stating to make its animals smaller now)

My opinion is probably close to what they will make I mean at least one or two on that retired list will be retired and at least the same on my predictions list.

Only in a few months till we find out though.

I would like to see a cub or another adult wolf added to the Arctic wolf set. Other than that, I would like to see new versions of some of their models that have been retired a long time.

A new pheasant for example would be cool! Same with the mountain lion. Other than that, just maybe some new birds or animals that haven't been made before?

I think they need to make an updated Mallard set though,the current ones don't really match with the current style. Mallard ducklings would be extra cute. Hoping for new dog families to be added as well. The labs need retired and remade into the smaller size.

I think it could be interesting with some more age variation in their figures.
Instead of just making adults and yunger ones them they could make some of the figures old too.
I think in a lot of species it could be visible. An old horse or dog looks different. An old lion would perhaps have scars ect. and I think a least some of them would be interesting as toys (look more dangerus or wise) and probably would be interesting for those having a few figures on a self too.

Honestly, i want schleich to make more of their wildlife in motion. Literally all of the zebra, giraffe, antelope, buffalo, dogs, and most cows are just standing with their head turned. I want to see some action. I a dying for them to make new zebras (my favorite animal). I want to see two stallions fighting, mares running with foals. That kind of thing. the whole standing around thing just gets kind of boring.

I wish they would make Marvel too. Sadly, a year or two ago when I still had Facebook, I asked about their chances of ever making Marvel figures. They said something like they never know what the future holds but that they are fine with the DC Comics figures that they have now. Sounded to me like its not gonna happen, but I really do wish it would.

And I do believe that Schleich is at least going to finish out the current 7 main Justice Leaguers, with Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Cyborg. And hopefully a few more heroes and their villains.

OK, so here are my new predictions based on the info in the 2016 thread. My guess for at least two out of four of the ocean animals are calves for the orca and dolphin, they play into the cutesy thing Schleich has going on, so other guesses could be something like a starfish to add color to the line. (though I always hope for the variety that their old ocean line had with minke whales, bow heads, belugas etc.) For the rest of the 15 wild (including the 4 ocean) would be two new lion cubs for their pride (maybe another female though that's debatable), and maybe another adult and cub tiger for the orange white pairs they have so far (since Schleich have almost always done a family of four, and usually both orange and white). Otherwise I hope for more variety of species this year, or at least better quality.

Next, for the horses, the Clydesdale family is confirmed. And since the two little piglets from the advent calendar are being added officially (I'm guess they will be Vietnamese potbelly pig piglets since their so small) does anyone thing its possible that the SE Friesian and Andalusian will be added also? They weren't your typical repaints, they were new models altogether so I'm just throwing it out there.

Anyways, I guess we wait til the end of October then.

But that is so looooooong xp.

A new Smilodon from Schleich would be nice for me.  The old one makes me laugh out loud.
