I really like this tiger. It is very appealing and has a gentle face.
And to me, even the painted stripes look better than Papo's paint job.
Surely one of Schleich's 2015 best looking figures.

Lineol 4th series are superb. Though, their felines are not their best and figures with complex patterns don't help too much when referring to composition models. Though, I am also a proud owner of a Lineol tiger and I like it very much. :)
I also have a very positive impression about this new Schleich and wiht all pictures already posted, I am sure I'll like it in real.
It is a big improvement over the previous versions, mainly because it has very good proportions. The bulky style keeps making me think in the Safari one but it seems this figure is really smaller. In these comparisons with the Papo tiger, we can see that Papo's keeps being the most spectacular but in some points Schleich is already doing better, I think paws are less exagerated, as well as the nose looks more balanced.
I don't have as many tigers as you but 3 Papo adults, the Lineol and Britains are enough for me. Let's see if I can resist to this one and also to the new Papo.

Well I guess this is progress and he might look a bit more realistic than the older version, if we look at the proportions. Still there's something that doesn't look right to me. I don't know - nice tiger overall. New coat would make him look even better I guess

It's beautiful tiger indeed. However, I think I will be able to resist from buying him, as I also have too many tigers (4 or 5 Schleich and 2 Papo)maybe I will rather buy the nursing tigress from Papo eventually.

About the new Schleich, painting don't impress me too much but it's also not bad. The pose and posture is wonderful and remind me a Siberian tiger what would be actually a good reason to buy this model.

I like the profile view of his head but I don't really like the front view of head. There is something strange about the eyes position and his skull, I don't know what exactly. But the eyes and head structure look better in Papo and Lineol (especially in Lineol I really like the prominent cheek bones)

I like this tiger.... and it`s nice, that look`s like siberian.
The body is very good sculpted...the texture is nice.
For me, for mass production of paint job, the strips looks quite good and right.
Anna is very right with her points about the head and the eyes position, and his skull...
Maybe with good paint job, this can be improved somehow..

I think his snout is shorter than it should be, but I like this tiger at all. Very good model and such big progress for Schleich!
Really, his stripes look more real then Papo's ones, but I think it is something strange in new Schleich paintjob. For example, old Schleich's black figurines have white foundation, and so they did shadows, hotspots and penumbras. But now I see that, for example, that tiger has orange foundation with white parts on his body and black stripes. I finally have got new Schleich wolves yesterday, and the growling one has AWFUL paintwork, but he is very detailed. His nose was painted just in half; I painted it for full.

It is not a problem Kiki :3 I enjoy your WA's very much, they are a inspiration to me

Now I have my new figure Schleich Tiger. i love it. It is a very realistic figure, painting is spectacular striped skin is simply magnificent, for me it is the best tiger in the market.

I've got both of new tigers (red father and his cub), so the cub is better than old Papo!

Do you guys know what species the schleich tiger for 2015 is? If not what is you best guess?
