More updates again. A great trade with Taos!

Then some of my finds, some sort of cheap turtle tube (wanted the softshell turtle), a Carnegie dino, and the newer Wild Republic poly bag (generally wouldnt recommend, the figures are very soft and rubbery. I wanted the coyote and hellbender).

In a moment I will post up close pics of the eagle, and I hope to start my collection up close overview in my display topic soon.

Here is the eagle. No brand stamp anywhere, highly detailed, moveable wings and cling talons. I'd guess it is some sort of action figure toy as well, perhaps for a fantasy series like Lord of the Rings (briefly googled and didnt find anything like it for that series yet). Quite a nice figure overall of a large golden eagle type of raptor.

The eagle is indeed included with an action figure called Ezio from Assasin's Creed (NECA).
Aparently it was a SDCC 2012 exclusive.

Aha! I didnt even think about the Assassin's Creed franchise. The level of detail makes sense then, for a mature action figure line. Thank you for your detective work!

Got a great package from Casterligg (thank you!), several great figures. I also went to a museum today and they had a great selection of safaris, many of them older! The whale shark is stamped 1991. Also visited a toy store and got some Papo and Safari figures there as well. Also a AAA snow leopard I found some time ago and cleaned finally.

Interesting info on the eagle, Bloodrayne, thanks! Makes you wonder how a San Diego Comic Con exclusive (therefore presumably pricey) figure ended up in a thrift store bag in Florida, 3000+ miles away. Ah well!

(Sorry I took this long to see your comments) Thank you! I dont believe the crab or horseshoe is stamped by a brand, but I will check to make sure. They are a lighter material but quite nice figures all the same. For me, the maned wolf or horseshoe are the stars of that lot.

If you guys are curious of brands of other figures in my collection, I have another thread where I am trying to do closer up pics and add the basic catalog info for them. If anyone has requests I'm taking them, whatever species you want to see closer up next. I'm just picking randomly right now.

Yes it is AAA! I also have the one from Papo, so someday the Safari ltd. will make 3. Those are all the ones from big brands I believe.

The crab and horseshoe are unbranded, and made of solid, hard, light, thinner plastic. When I do those groups for my collection closer look I'll take better photos and share here also.

New figures for my shelves. Snagged some harder to find bullylands and AAA, splurged on a pair of dinosaurs, and a whole troop of primates swarmed my shelves.

I think what you are referring to as a mouflon is a domestic "show" (shaved) sheep. The safari monkeys and apes toob was surprisingly nice! I need to get the new primates toob and compare.
