Nice models,especially the tiger, but sadly not available in the UK.

A really refreshing change for McDonalds to offer realistic animals instead of the animated film tie-in ones they usually give away, yes it's still advertising in a way, but in this case for the Schleich company rather than the usual movies'n'merchandise sales for Disney etc - I like how it'll help nudge more kids toward an interest in nature and collecting rather than pestering to see the latest film.

It's interesting to see how they compare to the others, I'm guessing those are the standard Schleich range.

I didn't know they weren't going to be issued here, that's a shame. But then I've not been to McDonalds for about four years - they were really handy for a quick stop on the way home from a horse show or long photography trip, but they stopped making three out of the only four things I liked (both vegetarian burgers, and then the chocolate muffins! ) so it wasn't worth stopping just for some small expensive chips

These are so much better "gifts" than many of the horrors we have seen .

It is perhaps 15 years since I was at McDonalds. Perhaps even 20 years

BUT now I cross my fingers - Yvette ( as always ) just bought them for me at Ebay
(The seller would not send to Denmark, - he even did not ansver when I asked )

If I had gotten a tiger like that when I was a kid, I'd surely feel quite excited and I wanted to know more about these figures. They are quite decent and I see them as great additions for adult collectors of realistic animal figures like us.
My only fear is that with so many plastic food these days, kids will need to ask her parents which one is the burguer and which one is the gift.

I wish the McDonald's in the US offered toys like these. I'd be eating way too many skeevy burgers- or the panhandlers I drive by would.

I had no idea the Smurfs had different a name in each country! I'd always assumed they were called Smurfs because it isn't a real word, like a nonsense name specially picked to have no meaning, so it would work fine as the series title in lots of different countries. Now I'm reading a list of what the Smurfs are called in all the language variations, despite not having watched them on tv for maybe 30 years

Is there any news of a 2023 McDonald's schleich line?
