Terra - Unicorn Mare

Terra is a member of the unicorn herd. She is the lead mare of the herd of Valley unicorns. She keeps her socialisation to the members of the herd and does not easily mix in with unicorns from without the herd. She also keeps the Fae at bay.
She has foals by either Manwe or Ghost, but it is not known which.

Terrane - Unicorn Mare

Terrane is an unicorn mare as illusive as the others. She stays with the herd and the herd avoids contact with the Fae and mostly with the normal horses. Like other unicorn mares she mostly thinks herself above those with no horns. She does socialize with the pegasi sometimes, but only to exchange gossip.
With either Ghost or Manwë, she has colts of fillies, but nothing can be sure, because she is at the moment not nursing. It is suspected that she is the direct sibling to Kaolin.

Terrowin is an old Holsteiner Gelding. He used to be a film horse, appearing most in medieval time pieces, dressed up in special armour or knightly reignment. Now he is retired, though and only goes out to special medieval festivals once in a while.
He is very well behaved and now that he is old and grey around the face, he prefers to keep it calm. He is very patient, making him ideal to work with children that visit the festivals where he can be found. Most days, though he can enjoy his retirement in the meadows, or being pampered by the stablehands.
Before he was gelded, his seeds were frozen. They were used to inseminate Ika. Terrowin became a father to Lorala long after he lost his stallionhood.


Terrowin was a member of the Sextuplets herd. He was the last member of the old generation and a protector of the herd. Unfortunately he has given his life to protect the herd, leaving behind his mate Ika and his young daughter Lorala. He will be missed and hopefully avenged.

Terry is a unicorn foal of unknown age. She is never seen around the herd, but rather more often around the shelled shored. The Fae thus assume she is weened. Not more is known about her. Not whom her father is and not whom her mother. It is suspected however that Firnen and Thornberry and Kikki are her fullblood siblings.

Thallo - Welsh Stallion

Thallo is an outgoing and energetic young Welsh Stallion. He is only five years old and is still training. He is very eager to learn and very experienced younger riders are already allowed to take him into the arena to train him in dressage and jumping. They have to be secure about themselves, though, because Thallo is very enthousiastic and rather mischievous.
Thallo is especially sociable. He can get along with any horse, really. He is open and outgoing and still very playful. He especially likes to rump around with Murphy, Robb and Billy the Kid. He is a racer and can be seen running around in the meadow with them. He might soon breed with Myfanwy.


Thallo is a somewhat younger member of the Sarnori mountain clan. He is only an adult by a year. He is very sociable and has a lot of friends, but is not yet mated. He has two brothers, Forseti and Saemus. And one good sister Bluebell.
He is a medium rank, but is a sociable horse with many a friend. He gets along with all stallion's and most mares. He also plays with the foals, watching over them and telling them myths any time he can.
He is mated to the mare Myfanwy and they hope to have a foal soon.

Thassaidon - T-Rex Juvenile

Thassaidon is a juvenile beast of the backlands. He is fierce and cunning, even at his age, which the dragons suspect is only halfway maturing. He is cruel and a bully, going after prey even when he is not hungry.
He is offspring to Bellatrix and Magnar. He has at least one younger sibling, named Happer.

Family von den Perenbaum

Beside the horses, the stable of course also has permanent human residents. They live in the large mansion on the front of the stable grounds.
The family consists of rather Pieter, mother Marisè, stepson Niklas and twins Laura and Lisa.

Everyone at the stables knows them well. They are very well liked among the general public that visits the stables and like family to the stablehands.
The family is very welcoming to everyone at the stables and have a heart for animals. They do a lot for charity and they each have their way of loving their horses.

Pieter

Pieter is the owner of the Stables. He is a rich man who officially works in finances. Rich enough most certainly to own a vast stables with many a horse to be taken care of. He owns most of the non boarding horses in name. He has only one horse that is truly his own, thoroughbred stallion Arthur.

Pieter travels a lot for his actual job, so he can’t always be at the stables. But when he is there, he is more than ready to lend everyone a helping hand. It is not very uncommon to find him in his expensive suit brushing a horse, help the farrier or muck out a stable. This of course much to his wife’s chargin.
Everyone at the stables likes Pieter. He is always friendly to everyone and is ready to give advice and comfort those in need. He is always good to animals and children.

Marisè

Marisè is Pieter’s wife. She was born in Spain and met Pieter when he was in Barcelona for business. She is two years older than him.
From a former marriage, Marisè has one son, Niklas. He is very loved by his stepfather tho. With Pieter, Marisè has twin daughters Lisa and Laura. She tends to want to spoil her children. But her husband balances her out rather well.

Marisè can be quite arrogant and no everyone gets along with her as well as with her husband. She only tends to her own horses and spends most of her time doing the finances and administration for the stables. She does this very well and mostly she is very professional.


She owns all the lipizzaner horses at the stables and often travels to Vienna for special training and special championships.

Niklas

Niklas is Pieter’s stepson. He is a charming and warm person. He is well liked by the stablehands, getting along well with most of them. A lot the young ladies who have their horses boarded here have a crush on him.
But Niklas has already given away his heart. He is head over heels for Tinka. The two are already vast friends and go out riding a lot of the time. It is not clear whether or not Tinka reciprocates these feelings for him.

Niklas is the proud owner of Quarter Horse Stallion Inkheart. Together they enjoy Western Disciplines as well as the classics. But the best time for both of them is when they are out in the woods, mostly in the company of Tinka and Icedust.
With Inkheart, Niklas practises natural horsemanship. They are quite in tune with each other and trust each other unquestioningly. Inkheart loves Niklas unconditionally and Niklas would do anything for the horse.

Thea - Mini Shetland Mare

Thea is a small and cubby Mini Shetty. She is rather stubborn and dominant. She loves food more than anything and with the help of the more clever horses, she has broken into the barn to get to the snacks. The kids tend to spoil her with sugar cubes and peppermints. She is also a bit overweight and should exercise more, but she is very much not into that.
She is not all that sociabble, prefering to keep to her specific circle of shetlander mare's. Her friends are mainly Evelientje, her own sister Mrs. Olga and Dees.


Thea is a member of the Sarnori Mountain clan. She is not a very high rank and is very discontent with this, but she doesn't not have the motivation to climb up in rank by aiding in the daily affairs of the herd or contributing much at all. She prefers to graze and laze, as it is called. She is also not very sociable and rather bossy.
She is mated to Wyatt and she has a sister named Mrs. Olga. They do not have a foal. Billy the Kid is her brother by law.

Theoden - English Thoroughbred Stallion

Theoden is a gentle and loyal English Thoroughbred stallion. He is friendly to most people. He is patient and tolerant to other animals like the dogs and cats.
He is primarily a film horse, but he enjoys racing a lot too, which he is quite good at as well. As a film horse he is very used to noisy environments and a lot of people around him. He works with a lot of riders and wears fancy get ups as a war horse of an elven steed.
Theoden has two brothers, Stardust and Arthur.


Theoden is the loyal steed of Iris, one of the Dark Elves. He is her trusty steed, with the gait of a swimmer and a steady hoof like a mountain goat. They love each other very much.
There is anger in Theoden’s heart, for his brother Arthur has been stolen from him in their colthood. This makes him sometimes rather temperamental.
He has one other brother named Stardust.

Theodred - Trakehner Colt

Theodred is a young, calm and a little bit shy Trakehner colt. He is rather playful with other foals, but is rather shy to adult horses. When adult horses come close, he will press close against his mother. He is also very shy towards the stablehands.
His parents are Jaqen and Roslin.


Theodred is a member of the sextuplet's herd. He is the son of one of the leaders. He enjoys the highest status among the foals and even adult horses treat him with respect.
He is sociable to most other horses and plays with a lot of other foals. His best friends are Ygraine and Vic.
His parents are Jaqen and Roslin. He has five uncles, Abel, Felix, James, Trick and Maedhros, four aunts, Goldberry, Pandora, Winter and Roslin and five cousins, Liam, Vic, Oberyn, Reginald and Eothain

Theseus - Paso Fino Stallion

Theseus is a very handsome and affectionate Paso Fino stallion. He was recently signed up for boarding at the stables by his owner Marieke. Marieke is a friend of Niklas’, who has recently purchased the young stallion. They are both still training, as Theseus has only just been saddle broken.
He is very sweet and gentle. He loves attention and never reacts in an uncooth way. He whinnies when he smells Marieke and will nicker at horses he gets along with when they come by his box. He is already making friends with Prince Charming, Icedust and Hodge Starkweather.
With Marieke, Theseus is first training at natural horsemanship. But later she wants to practise him in dressage and parade riding.


Theseus is a member of the Pendragon herd. He is a charming and kindly young stallion who makes even mated mares turn their heads to him. He is very flirty and physically affectionate. He is not very aware of the effect he seems to have on the ladies, so he is easily forgiven.
He is friendly to everyone, even those outside the herd, even though he is shy of the Fae. He sometimes allows squirrels or lemurs braid flowers in his hair. His best friend is the dragon Newt. Inside the herd he gets along very well with Icedust and Glorfindel.
He is not yet mated, but we are all very sure that soon there will be a mare whom he will make very happy.

Thijs - Grizzly Bear Cub

Thijs lives in the forests of the valley with his mother Maege and his siblings Koda and Jorella. His father Jorah travels mostly independent from them. Thijs loves playing with other young animals, like black bear cubs Brownie and Beorn. He is a good climber, trees hold no secret for him. He does not like to stray from the forest, the open plains too wide and flat for him.

Thistle - Royal Unicorn Mare

Thistle is the youngest mare in Calydor’s herd. She is cheerful and sociable. She is friendly to everyone and always in good spirits. She tends to wander away from the herd at times, as she has not yet a foal to bind her to it. She easily makes friends and is even kinfly to the Fae upon chance meetings. She is not shy of the herds of the horses and is even friends with some of the horses of the plains.
She best friends are Rosemary, Amarylles and Zefyr. She also gets along perfectly well with Yoru, Valyria and Primrose, Calydor’s other mares.

Thor - Fjord Stallion

Thor is a stout and sturdy fjord stallion. He is very energetic and very affectionate. He is available for the more experienced riders. He is a hard worker and can be rather stubborn under the saddle, so he does need a firm hand. He is not specialized in any specific discipline, but is quite an adept jumper and does well at racing as well. He usually wins prizes at the local or the stable’s cross country competitions.
Thor is very sociable. He gets along well with a lot of the other horses. His best friend is the friesian stallion Loki. He also is very close to Bucky, Steve, Anthony and Doctor Strange.
With the mare Eydis, Thor has a filly named Sjofn.


Thor is a member of the Sarnori Mountain Clan. He is a warrior at heart and fights hard to defend the herd from the beastlings. He has quite the short temper, but he is also friendly and extremely loyal. One has to do something really atrocious to lose his love. He is even very kind to the member that have bonded to the Fae, even though they have been ejected from the herd.
With his mate Eydis, Thor has a filly named Sjofn.

Laura and Lisa

Pieter has two daughters with Marisè, a set of twins named Laura and Lisa. They are fraternal twins and do not at all look alike. Laura is dirty blond and short while Lisa is white blond and taller. They are fourteen years old.
Laura has a Dartmoor Mare named Gozer and Lisa an Icelander Mare named Myrcella. They ride often and spent every free minute at the stables. Laura even sometimes does her homework in Gozer’s stablebox.


Laura and Lisa are inseparable and very giggly. They giggle about everything. And they do everything together. Except riding. They have very different styles and interests.
Laura prefers going out in the woods, while Lisa prefers practising her jumping and dressage in the arena.

Akka - Grey Goose Female

Akka is a wild grey goose that shows up in the meadows every year, together with her flock. Always when the weather warms up she comes back to the stables to make her nest on the edge of the ditch.
Akka is very defensive and will chase the horses away from her nest and chicks. As long as they leave her in peace, she is no real trouble though. Niklas likes to see her and makes photo’s of her every year to document her life in the meadow. The local wildlife organisation pays him for some of his photo’s for on their website.


Akka is a goose female that leads a flock that summers at the valley.They stay at the valley during spring and summer and fly south after six moons, when it is warmer in the lands in the south.
She is sociable to everyone in the valley, but does not develop permanent friendships with any of them. She is mated to the Gander Nils.

Dolly Fine - Dolphin Female

Dolly Fine is a domesticated dolphin, who is a companion animal of merpeople. She is very loyal to them. She is not a terribly clever animal and she is rather fearful of the wild beasts that live in the water. She also stays away from the Hypocampi and the Kelpie.
With mate Dolphus she has three calves.

Spetter - Dolphin Calf

Spetter is a domesticated dolphin, who is a companion animal of merpeople. He is very loyal to them. He is not a terribly clever animal and his mother raised him to be fearful of the wild beasts that live in the water. He is also told stays away from the Hypocampi and the Kelpie.
His parents are Dolpho and Dolly Fine. He has two siblings.

Splash - Dolphin Calf

Thorin Oakenshield - Shire Stallion

Thorin is a huge and gentle shire stallion. He is tender and kind. He is used in special riding lessons of handicapped children. He has several special saddles, for paralyzed children and for blind and for mentally handicapped children. He is very patient and obedient, even though he is not gelded.
To other horses he does tend to be quite dominant. He has a selective few horses he gets along with, the others he tends to bite away. This selective group is Dwalin, Thranduil, Bilbo, Bofur and Balin.
Thorin has two brothers named Garin and Frerin. With the mare Luthien he has one colt named Fili.


Thorin is a member of the Pendragon Herd. He is one of Blackstorm’s generals. He is Blackstorm’s vast friend and a proponent for keeping the herds separated. He is a stern stallion and a great fighter, but he is very short tempered and old fashioned.
He isn’t all too sociable and only has a select few friends, under whom Dwalin and Hodge. He tends to keep to himself, unless he has a strong opinion on something.
He is mated to Luthien and with her has a son named Fili. It is highly suspected that he secretly is lover to Thranduil. Frerin and Garin are his brothers.

Special Post for 18 Aug '19


Tinka is the second most senior stablehand at the stables. She is a very dedicated young woman, who is on the stables almost every day, except for when she has important appointments or is on holiday, which is rather rare.
Tinka owns a white Arabo-Friesian stallion named Icedust von Pendragon and leases the Friesian mare Philipah of Highgarden. There is still some ambiguity about who owns their filly Ravenzwart, though.

Tinka is a strong and competent stablehand, who can handle the most difficult horses without much trouble. She knows exactly how to approach each horse and thus many of the horses at the stable love her greatly.

With Icedust Tinka rides out almost every day. Only when it is very bad weather she rides in the arena, otherwise, she goes out into the forest or the town. Most often she is accompanied by Niklas or Joost. Small wonder, because they are his best friends.
Tinka is very much in love with Niklas, but thinks he is a bit out of her league. She loves spending time with him, but tends to be a little bit oblivious to his flirting.

Nyarlathotep - Dracorex

Nyarlathotep is a clever and confident beast from the Backlands. He is a herbivorous beast, but most certainly a player in the going on in the Backlands. He won’t let the carnivores walk all over him.
He has, by a mysterious way, gained magic gifts, which makes him able to manipulate those around him. This makes him very high on the pecking order in the Backlands.
The Dragons are keeping a close eye on him. They fear he will be allied with the Beastlings. Some of the dragons even suspect him to be behind the Beastlings. Nothing is for sure, as this beast is a very secretive one. He allows no one close to him or to know his plans.
