| Update: this seller upped his price a bit after he sold half of his stock. I made an offer... we discussed the pricing a little... and in the end I bought one! Still paid more than I would have wanted to after shipping, but this is probably the rarest papo by far wouldn't you think? So for anyone else looking into this listing... consider negotiation! | Wonderful that you managed to find the albino gorilla. Because of the different colour and the face is painted, it almost looks as if it is a different sculpt than the black gorilla. I suppose it's appropriate that it is rare, because there was only one known albino gorilla, Snow Flake in Barcelona's zoo. Because it had such a short production run, I believe it isn't so surprising that it has become rare and expensive. I predict that the Papo elephant seal and albatross will also sell for high prices in a decade or so. Probably good investments |
