| I partly repainted the CollectA Musk Ox. I repainted the legs, the muzzle, the eyes and the ears. I think the eyelids are too reddish and I probably will fix it later. I looked through google image and found that all the legs' hair of Musk Ox are yellowish white. I don't know why CollectA would miss this part or they just wanted to cost down the labor? | I've noticed same feature on the leg colour and tried to repaint mine, but the result was horrendous (at this time I only had aquarel pencils, and not paint tubes), and I tried to delete any traces. | So I never noticed it what is strange and it makes a big difference. CollectA uses very complex patterns in very models, I doubt they did it to reduce the production costs. A design decision or something they missed.
Your repaint is really great and even being partially, it makes a very noticiable difference. |
