Yes they have great zoo . Magdeburg have the only Grandidier's Vontsira on show in Europe and one of the very few Marbled polecats
The new Africambo and Nubian ibex complexes are also very nice. Berlin area is probably the reachest zoo destination in the world :)

And not soooo far away from my hometown. If you will visit the Zoo of Dresden, please let me know :)

I will definately do ! It would be pleasure to meet you! In my near future plans are Duisburg - Krefeld and Frankfurt- Neunkirchen zoos. I am waiting the two Berlin zoos to open their Carnivores house and first thing I will do is to travel to Berlin. My be that's perfect time to visit Dresden also. Or may be we can join in two zoos Berlin tour :) :)

As you can see the Berlin zoo i visited in the summer holidays. The Berlin Tierpark i viisted in my childhood. So it is good idea :)

Yes, of course ! It is really crazy zoo with many rarities. Have been there last year and looking forward to visit it again. Some of the enclosures not covering the highest standards,  but the zoo definitely has great feature. Have seen one of the very few Spix Macaw,  Birds of Paradise, Bear Cuscus in Europe and many more.

Thank you ! It is not easy to describe or present Pairi Daiza with pictures. It is a place, that must be seen :)
