PostSubject: Our choices for Mojo 2013?   Thu Nov 10, 2011 4:00 pm

Mojo Fun opened a "pole" in their FaceBook page and as not everybody has a FB acount we will match this topic with FB choices.
This is to choose the figures for 2013 and we should pick 3 in each of the categories. We don't have to use all categories only those we want. It will be added to FB choices.

Categories:
- prehistoric mammals
- Dinosaurs
- Birds
- Reptiles
- Africa
- Asia
- Primates
- Sea life
- South America
- North America
- Europe

You only have to write the category and 3 animals you want: for example:
Europe: fallow deer, European mouflon and ermine! Wink
Our participation is very welcome! cheers

If we already posted on FB, we don't have to do it here?

The best is to post it in both places, you only have to copy it. :) Doubled votes are always better! Laughing

Awright, I'll play.

- prehistoric mammals: Sivatherium, Hyracotherium, Thylacine (the genus has been around since the Miocene, so yes, they qualify as prehistorics)
- Dinosaurs: Compsognathus, Shuvuuia (or any alvarezsaurid), Ouranosaurus
- Birds: Cormorant!, Secretarybird, Harpy eagle
- Reptiles: Bipes, because... why not?
- Africa including Madagascar: Fossa, Jentink's duiker, Black-backed jackal
- Asia: Przewalski horse, any sort of civet
- South America
- North America: Black-footed ferret, coyote, peccary
- Europe: Norway lemming (Lemmus lemmus), Least weasel (Mustela nivalis), Tarpan (Konik)

And one thing goes for all these animals: Please, please give us some nice action poses, not just animals that stand quietly on all fours and look like badly mounted museum specimens!

Roger, i updated my list, what an impossible task! There are just too darn many cool ungulates in Asia and Africa! It's not fair to limit to three! I'd also vote for the Takin, any of the Asian wild cattle. But frankly, i think any big ungulate by Mojo will make me happy.

A Markhor in Europe ? Which zoo ??? Laughing Laughing Laughing

He limited me to three of each so I made some changes to get them on the list, Marco Polo sheep don't come from Europe either, but that would have been 5 from Asia, oops!
