Schleich 75th anniversary

Congratulations Torben!
I'm not a fan of these figurines but they are funny! And I like the way legs are paintted with thiner strips like almost zebras has in real and, off course, Schleich ones!!!

Did someone say you get one (not normally) striped animal with each 75th anniversary airplane? Is that why you have doubles? You have 4 airplanes? Or do they send two with each airplane? They are fun to look at. Have you figured out which animal model numbers was painted with stripes?

Every airplane has one register code.
With this code you get one animal by chance.

So you must have a many luck to get with four codes all four different animals.

When i say half and half, then i say it to the butcher and take meat half from pork and half from beef (cow).

I actually used a black permanent marker on the pig and had fun doing it just for this thread. I hoped you didn't mind Torben...

This is what the Schleich company wrote me about these figurines, as i wrote them, that they possibly couldn't aspect that every collector would buy 4 of those planes at least...

Die Figur selbst wird durch die Verfügbarkeit und Losentscheid ausgewählt. Diese Spezielfiguren können daher nicht gezielt erworden werden.

Dadurch wollen wir den "Wert" dieser Sonderfigur zusätzlich erhöhen.

The letter you received from Schleich is great news Willy. Especially for those who have spent the $ to purchase the 75th Anniversary plane to get one of the special figures. It is nice to know that Schleich is going to remain truthful and not offer the "special figures" outside of the purchase of the 75th Anniversary plane keeping their "value" up. I'm certain Schleich is watching this all very closely to see if it's financially feasible to do something like this again. I personally wouldn't buy a plane except to get the Anniversary figure. But I'm not a young boy who dreams of flying over the African Savannah! I've been in a small plane before and prefer a helicopter.

I will get one of those planes too of course.
and i will see how i manage to get the other figurines, but i work that out.
As Torben and Peter got several of them too...

My first flight was in a little Cesna too, and i flew in Pipercups too when i was about 9 years old, because the father of a friend of mine owned one, even far before i flew in an commercial jet, or jet-fighter..

And i would love to be in a little plane over the plains of Africa or other wild-reserve
every day!
If it would be possible to be there every day, and be able to have a life full of animals, and be able to take care of yourself too, what a choice....

Today i became 5 more pics.
I think Schleich don`t like his collectors. From 15 Figures no Giraffe?
I think they made a bad joke with us.

Oh no, what a real disappointment that must be! Did they really stripe the giraffe? We won't know until someone actually gets one and posts a picture will we.

I think the pig is the cheapest figure and the giraffe the most expensive.
So you would see in the future a lot of pigs and only a few giraffes.

Today i received more 5 pieces.
And even no giraffe.
Has until now anybody seen an giraffe?

I have 20 figurines and Thorben even 4 and we don`t have the giraffe.
