I noticed that I haven't posted yet my Schleich armadillo. This was my most wanted Schleich figure from those I was missing and Robert found it from Yvett and helped me. At last I was able of getting this great figure without paying a vertiginous amount of money.

When I forget my medication I start getting green and stressed. It won't happen again.

I thought the African penguin and the white hare would finish my Schleich additions until to know news for 2014. Though, it looks I am acquiring a retired Schleich that everyone loves and I always disliked. I hope I'll have the chance of seeing it in real but as long as I can't get it, here are the 2013 cute unusual species.
The lighter hare, right side, is made in Portugal while other 2 figures are made in China.
Chinese bought locally while Portuguese version bought online with Yvett's help at this shop

Yes Harriet, I thought it was the best feeling of this hobby, but suddenly I received a homemade giant anteater that I never knew I've searched it before. So, I've found something much more exciting!

Schleich retired figures were almost impossible to find for a good price some mounths ago and now it is raining Schleich.
I was lucky of finding a ferret for 1 Euro in a Portuguese auctions website and I decided also to get another figure that I never liked considering price/quality. Though, I must be honest and say that in real the figure is not as disturbing as it looks in pictures. Bad proportions are there but maybe the relatively small size helps it look not bad in hands. It was 3 Euros, so it would never hurt even I didn't want it. Surely it wouldn't be hard to find a new owner for it. ...and I've found... myself!

As Susanne said, oryx antelopes in such a good condition and for such a good price are really a great collectors luck.
I have made the experience, I often find the rarest figures, when I don´t expect it or when I don´t search for figurines of my wish list. Collecting is always a little "big" adventure.

I am a little outdated, as usual, with my additions!
Those have been very foxy days. First the 2 gifts from Susanne, the stupend Papo red fox and the black fox from Safari.

Also Nando, decided to surprise me and send to me a lot of figures!

From left a hollow fox, 2nd is a fantastic PEC fox, it looks almost a dhole. and two little unbranded sitting foxes, last one is another similar I received from Ana long time ago.

Finally, these squirrels in a very unusual pose, they are Schleich sized and they don't look exactly like the traditional red squirrels, are they fox squirrels? Who knows?

Congratulations Roger! I absolutely love your foxes :) Both Papo and Safari Ltd. have beautiful wild dogs, they look almost like the real ones!

Squirrel is really something different and Safari has the best group of wild dogs I know. Coyotes, Arctic and grey wolves, African wild dog and foxes are all great figures.
