Schleich 2011 scratching post and rabbit hutch?

so didn't someone on this forum say that in 2011 Schgleich was going to introduce a scratching post and rabbit hutch?? does anyone have the pictures? is this true?

I don`t know about a scratching post. But the Rabbit hutch has been there for a while

The rabbit hutch came in 2006. Has no 42019.

There will be kittens playing on something that looks like a piece of a tree trunk in 2011, maybe that is what you heard ?

In May 2011 will come some new play sets: Rabbits, cats, dogs agility but i haven´t seen the pictures.

hi the rabbit hutch is meant to being repainted in a different colour scheme to go in the rabbit scenery pack i havent seen photos just been told that

Hello. Today I made the short pilgrimage up the freeway to the local toy store with the huge Schleich section. As luck would have it, the Schleich representative for this area (one of five, I believe, in the state of California) was present. I've met her before, but this was the first time I've had the opportunity to chat at length. She had delivered the 2011 Dealer's Catalog, and it is most impressive.

The rabbit hutch in question is painted mostly yellow and is included in the scenery pack. There are several new ones, including one with a dog and a fantastic one with cats and a cat furniture, including stratching posts. My impression is that they will be retailing for about $25. This is also true of the Smurf reissue packages, each containing five classic smurfs from each decade forward, beginning with the 1960's.

We've seen the photos and auctions for the leaked-out Nuray duo, but there is also a pure white ornamental Chinese dragon, which will surely be one of the most incredible figurines I've ever seen.

There are some new "action" human figurines, including a "forest worker" wielding a Schleich Chainsaw and a gardener wearing goggles with an electric "weed-whacker"
Also, there is a 4X4 SUV and an agricultural transport vehicle with a large cylindrical tank. They remind of the best aspects of SIKU farm vehicles, while the new human figures are consistent with recent Schleich releases in style.

The Black Bear adult/cub duo will not be retired, due to the outcry from American collectors/consumers.

My overall sense is that Schleich is expanding beyond the traditional borders of its animal lines, and that we may soon see a large range of human figures, perhaps much like the excellent ELC line. There is also a continuing emphasis on releasing entire animal families, instead of just individual adult animals. Clearly, Schleich will be investing heavily in the near future in its Fantasy line, but I also understand that while there will be no new sealife figurines this year, we can expect more in the near future, as they do sell reasonably well with children and Schleich values the potential tie-ins with Aquaria around the world. No new dogs this year, and if memory serves, maybe no new dinos, either.

I also learned that the new "mini" dogs from 2010 may be here to stay, as they are the result of many complaints about the lack of congruency between the production scales for the popular animal lines (dogs vis-a-vis horses and farm animals).

I will try to get detailed info about the non-January releases on either Wednesday or Thursday.
