All others brand make only the Common Hippopotamus. This is one of the most wanted figure in 2014 !

Hi all, some additional photos of the mummy Pygmy hippo for you along with other Schleich hippo's for size comparison. This hippo will shrink by 5%.

Even reducing 5% it is a little large when compared with Schleich hippos. Or saying much better. Schleich hippos are really small when compared with everything.
It will fit much better with my Papo hippo male and Mojo female. Body shape is really good, very recognizable, pygmy hippo, I want you!

I don't think so. I agree with Roger, Schleich hippo are too small, and Papo and Mojo are in good size.

I agree. I think this is an excellent size. Schleichs are indeed too small. Wonderful work CollectA! One of my very favorites for 2014.

This pygmy hippo is really excellent   we can't have a doubt about the species so the size is really meaningless and there are so many scales
