Mojö fun 2014 - Komodo dragon 387166

Again, the model is great, but this color:( (Even if there are any)
The Papo and also the Schleich are much nicer (I think).
Well now is not on my wish list, but it must rather look at times in real life and then hope that it suits me more.

Florian, of course that's you opinion that deserves all my respect, though, I hope Mojo or any other brand won't use Schleich komodo as reference. For me it is one of the worst replicas of this animal. I like this a lot. My favorite Komodo Dragon figure available has been the Colorata. This new Mojo is actually quite similar. I believe that the belly of Colorata Komodo dragon is also off the ground.

Unlike many other collectors, I'm actually a fan of models that have a very static pose. It's one of the reasons why I like some of the classic Schleich figures. (I'm not criticizing other collectors. Far from it. I'm just remarking that different collectors have different tastes.) I also really like the coloring of this model, specifically the dark head and arms and the contrast between those areas and the rest of the body.

Scott, thanks for your picture of Colorata komodo dragon! Am I used to see it from the other side? From that angle the figure looks to have more movement and even the belly looks nicer. Though, anytime I see that komodo, I feel like seeing a fish with legs instead of flippers. Being a Colorata, surely it is an excelent figure and much better in real.

I like it alot, but I think the back should be a little darker:

Hmm... that first picture does that have weird greenish color, almost like the Papo one. I didn't know they came green.

Yes, we are! The only exception among us I can remember is Tylosaurus, he is a komodo dragon with flippers.

the Mojo Komodo Monitor arrived.

And what do i have to say: It's of great detail, despite of the static, lifted pose which i interpret as a posing "looking bigger" male. But head proportions, whole body shape and details are gorgeous. And i also do own the Colorata, Schleich, Papo (repainted),...
