| Hello everyone, I have a new model I recently created of a 1:22 scale Indian elephant cow. The model was created from real life observation, I spent many hours at my local zoo studying a particular elephant up close. I have received multiple request for copies of my models on this forum and others so I am pleased to finally offer my replicas for those interested. I have opened a shop on Shapeways initially offering two models for sale, I plan to add more species in the future. RE001-1:22 scale Indian elephant cow (8 ft) 11.5 x 15.9 cm RE002-1:22 scale Indian elephant calf (3.9 ft) 6 x 7.6 cmPlease note the models are hollow, white and unpainted, they should be washed with soap and water prior to painting. They are made of white nylon plastic which is hard and rigid. Shapeways is a large 3D printing company based in New York and the Netherlands. They have multimillion dollar industrial grade 3D printing machines and ship all around the world. I have uploaded my models to their site and setup a shop, once a customer places an order Shapeways staff will print out a white nylon plastic model, package and ship it to your door within a couple weeks. Standard credit cards and PayPal are accepted. SHOP LINK- Red Elephant Wildlife Modelshttps://www.shapeways.com/shops/redelephantThe inspiration for the adult cow elephant, we walked down to the river to give her a bath.

| I was posting some wishes in your Siam Topic... And here it is Not Siam but a fantastic elephant with calf and with an excellent price. I have to save money to catch those ones. Will you make 1:32 copies? I know there is some 1960's standarts collectors here |

What will be your next models? Hi Joan, Harriet It is because of people like yourselves, Anna, and miniNature, that I was encouraged to release my own models as well. The bull elephant will be added to my shop soon, I just need to do a bit of fixes first. Christophe suggested I release 1:32 scale versions as well, so these will be added soon too. I know the collectors here like rare species not made by the big companies, here is what I have in mind for possible new models: -Javan rhino -African forest elephant -Borneo pygmy elephant -Grevys zebra |

| Its nice to see these models for sale. I haven't seen elephants as accurate as yours, except for real ones, of course. The pose of the calf is especially unique. |

| Andrew, I was going to send this as a PM but I thought others might find this interesting and useful as well so I'll just post it here for everyone. I was thinking as an example if you offered the Javan rhino in the poses as shown, can you change the pose of the figures already offered for sale? For instance, how difficult would it be to make the Javan rhino in a laying pose if I wanted to make a scene where it was wallowing in the mud? |

Hi Phil, Yes that is relatively simple to do once I get my base models built. The way it works is a neutral pose is created then this can be altered to many different poses by rotating the joints, head etc. Here is an example, I printed two elephants derived from the same basic model but posed differently. If there is an interest I can offer multiple poses of each animal. |

That is great news, and gives me the idea for a mini scene with the Javan rhino, so get a good "wallowing" pose ready! I'll probably get a pair for a scene in the mud pool where I use the one you have in the walking pose as entering the pool and have you modify the other to be laying in it, another project I have no time for but really am excited to work on! |

| These elephants are just fantastic! Thanks so much for making them available!
And the rhino looks wonderful! It's great to finally see the javan rhino get a model!
I really like the different poses for the elephant and the rhino. That must be a lot of fun to sculpt.
Really looking forward to the 1/32 scaled models! |
