Hi arafan, I just added that model to my shop and it is now available for those interested.
It is 1:22 scale, 8.3 ft tall at the shoulder, Indian elephant cow in a trunk salute pose.
cm: 7.37 w x 17.558 d x 12 h

Hi Thank you, I usually just work on the models during my free time so I'm guessing it takes a few weekends on and off to complete the base model.  Once I get the neutral model it can be posed however I want. Printing takes a couple of weeks once an order is placed.

Fantastic models! I especially love the bull Asian elephant calf!

I have uploaded some images of my models after they have been painted.  
These were done with acrylic paints, airbrushing and hand painting was used.

Unbelievable Andrew, they are incredible!  When I first saw the bust of the saluting elephant I thought it was the live elephant you modeled the copies after!

I'm just guessing but based on the dark body color and large pink patches on the face and ears it is most likely the Sri Lankan subspecies, Elephas maximus maximus.

When will painted versions of all these elephants be available?

To complete the elephant line up could you possibly make the other species too? would be great to complete one large set of a group of species

Thanks both, Phil you're absolutely right about Sri Lankan elephants having the dark body and prominent pink patches.  Though this zoo elephant which I based the model on was supposedly sourced from either Thailand or Vietnam.  It is entirely possible that she was of Sri Lankan descent as elephants were traded all over Asia in the past by royalty resulting in mixing of the subspecies.

My Javan rhino is nearing completeion so that should be out soon.

I don't have plans for painted models just the unpainted versions....sorry.  An African bush bull is also in progress now.
