I was surprised how very hard it was to find Bullyland when I was in Germany. I thought it would be easier, but the only places I saw any were the Frankfurt Zoo and a few random ones at a Karstadt store. I thought that since they are made there they would be in more stores but everywhere I went it was just Schleich. I didn't even find any other makers except Schleich and the few Bully until finally a small toy shop in Hamburg that had some Ostheimer wooden ones. Just like here it must be easier to find things online than in stores any more.

The Bullyland model is having rather brownish mane and tail and light fur with a bit rose shade? Especially the shading on legs looks quite red, that's why I thought it didn't fit "buckskin" colour

Wonderful new additions, I especially like the little calves.

About a week ago, Maja-Maus sent me a PM, that she had found my long-sought for masked cat for me on the net   

Kitty even had a whole family

Better late than never , - at long last I got the baby African elephant from 2011   

Isn't he adorable ?   








He came with a green tag, which you can scan , - unfortunately I don't have the thing that can scan it.
But the baby elephant, which he replaced, seems very impressed

Yes, Bullyland sometimes makes awesome models, - for instance the present giraffes, the European bison, and their Asian elephants are great also....

Allow me to present my two new models from the series of large farm animals :
Ram no 62476b , made from  1998 - 2005, and the boar no 62310  from 2009 and on..    


I just love that ram




His face is the most sheepish I have ever seen in a model. I could not decide which photo to show you, so you have to see them all     










Here is a line-up of the rams that Bullyland has made over the years , - aren't they fine ?


Looking in the catalogues, the present boar and the one before look so similar, I just had to get this ( latest) piggy to see the difference.
But first let me show you the guy








Here you see the boars lined up.
The newest one to the right has a wider face than the ones that he replaced in 2009 next to him.
Also he has the left front leg forward where the other ones have the  right leg forward, - well, now I know THAT
